My apologies for the audio quality, I was still finding all the things managing my sound and I had missed a big one. I promise you better sounding videos in the future ❤ I've also made some adjustments to bring it more in line with the channel layout as a whole, and there are captions now!

This was interesting to watch, jokes are good and editing is great :) On the cons tho, there's only one, outside fps drop is really strong and it cannot be unnoticed( redacted: forgot to mention that is happens not all the time, so maybe it's rendering issue?), but I understand that maybe it cannot be fixed in near future for obvious reasons, coz many of us do not have i11 with 4090 lol (me too btw). Will wait for next episodes!

Thank you so much for the feedback, I noticed the FPS after uploading, but I have adjusted my draw distance from 10 cells to 5 and it is much cleaner now!

I've always wanted to have a little competition where a bunch of people start Morrowind, do as much as they can in Seyda Neen and the surrounding area, then as much as you can in Balmora (without leaving), and see who ends up with the best character at the end. It's pretty outrageous how wealthy you can become just by petty theft within the first 20 minutes.

I would like to add that when in the area where the bosmer falls from the sky, one of the swamp ponds nearby has a tree stump with a stash in it much like the ones you shown in your video. It has a fire enchanted dagger and I believe some gold. And for the tax collectors girlfriend, you can give her the ring and then kill her to get it back and the quest reward. I believe she has the potions in her inventory if you’d rather just kill her first. I don’t think she is ever important again for anything so killing her should be fine.
@trevorbakerNUGGA Жыл бұрын
I took “take everything of value” to heart. Only thing I had to leave was the one lantern on the wall because my inventory got full right before you talk to fargoth. I’ll be back little lantern 😘

Iirc the only mods installed at this point we're Tamriel Rebuilt and a few graphics things like Remiros grasses and readable signs.

Also I think my latest character is a really good build, I focused on taking all the Magic Schools that give defensive spells(Reflect, Resist, Absorb, attribute buffs, Shield, Sanctuary, etc) and I took Armorer and Heavy Armor in minor skills and Medium Armor, Blunt Weapon and Block in major skills. Lady sign, Endurance and Personality as my favored attributes, early focus on buffing Willpower and Agility. It's a Paladin build, focused on avoiding and evading damage.
@Gitshiver Жыл бұрын
That should definitely be able to avoid damage! :D

@@Gitshiver At level 3, with the basic spells applied and my bonemold gear, it takes a rat about 7 minutes to bring me down to half health. And then it takes two swings from the steel mace to take that same rat out, so not atrocious combat effectiveness, but definitely a fully actualized build even at the start. I love this game so much lmao

Thanks for these videos! Likedcand subbed! I've decided to start a Morrowind ▶ through because it's on Game Pass, and the last time I played the actual true Morrowind game, on the original X-Box, i was like a lot kids-- i couldnt hit the rats in the first Fighters Guild quest and after getting merked by a rat 30 times in a row, i gave up andvtraded the game in. I only ever played Morrowind again like 10 years ago or more, when i decided to download MorrOblivion on my PC sinced i happened to oen both games on PC at the time but they were collecting dust, unused... Until i learned aboutvthe mod and play the hell out of Morrowind in the Oblivion engine! It was awesome! But now i want to play Morrowind and its expansions as intended in its original game engine, and your videos are invaluable aids in this endeavor, thanks again! 😀

Lady is such a good sign. Three of my four characters have it. The fourth is a Long/Short Blade, Marksman, Light Armor, basically a cross of Acrobat and Agent I call the Spy since I tagged every Blades skill, and I took Lover for the paralysis. Believe me, you need Paralysis for the Morag Tong quests.
@kylejoly577 Жыл бұрын
The lady is nice early but gets outscaled by many other signs.
@kingofthegrill Жыл бұрын
@@kylejoly577 I can definitely see that happening but I'm not too worried, most of the other sign powers I liked are things I can achieve with spellcasting on those characters, except my Nord who doesn't like magic and won't even use his racial powers. In a month from now I'll probably have remade all my current characters and no longer touch the Lady but so far it's been great. The 57-62 disposition with 5 speechcraft alone is nice.

Super chill, I enjoyed the vibes and learned a couple things about the Seyda Neen surroundings that have managed to evade me all these years! Here's a couple neat things I've figured out over my many playthroughs: You can actually keep the 200 gold you find on Processus if you kill Foryn Gilnith before talking to Socucius, and still get the 500 for completing the quest. At 36:56 in this area, there's also an enchanted ring that's hard to spot! "The Thief's Ring." It fortifies your speed, agility, and personality by a bit for a few seconds. Its efficacy and value isn't really anything to write home about, but it's neat that it's there! I've seen some mods make it constant effect as a way to help make it feel more worthwhile, and that certainly does the trick.
@Gitshiver Жыл бұрын
Oh wow, I never found the thief ring before! I have tried the "get both payouts" bug with the tax collection quest, but somewhere between OpenMW and the unofficial patches, they patched it out so you can't talk to foryn about it until you get the actual quest.
@robertwindshade7629 Жыл бұрын
@@Gitshiver Ah well. A shame, but it's not like 200 gold is hard to come by in Morrowind, lol.
