I agree, is one of the saddest series I've seen. It's as worse as Goodbye my princess. And unfortunately it's quite historically accurate,this queen really ended up betrayed and killed. The actress is fantastic in portraying the look of disappointment and heart hardening.

It was truly sad for concubines. If they didn't become vicious, vying for power, then they were like birds in a gilded cage with no rights over their own children. Especially with a man who thinks he is before everything else in the world and the life of a son and concubine and harem women don't matter at all. Truly pitiful.
