My wife heard those two loud booms while she was outside tonight, just north of Powell. She said they sounded like nearby gun shots, possibly from a shotgun or a high-powered rifle. So yeah, it was probably someone recklessly shooting into the air, which is very dangerous! Bullets that miss their target will fall back to earth with a terminal velocity that is still fast enough to be fatal. Bullets that strike an airborne target, like a large drone, may cause it to crash down with enough force to seriously injure someone. So please, do NOT shoot into the sky. It is illegal for a good reason.

wheres the real proof. our country has access to great cameras and video cameras and fotage can be analyzed. i have seen no evidence or clear picture of a “drone” almost all images are grainy and blurry. there are apps people can use that will tell them what is an aircraft and what is a drone. not every single aircraft or drone is in thoes apps registry but many are. come on people.
