Wow - more games I never owned! I think a friend may have had Atlantis, so I'm sure I played it back in the old times though. Fun Missile Command knock-off, but the fixed firing angles kept it from being really good. Didn't think Riddle of the Sphinx would go to the top, but you guys are the scientists, not me 😆. As far as other inscrutable adventure games that you really need the manual for, there's always Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was weird, but I thought it was fun even after figuring everything out. Gyruss was a really good port (for the 2600) of a great arcade game - perfect mixture of Tempest and Space Invaders/Galaga. Other arcade ports I really enjoyed back in the day (and I think came over decently) were Asteroids and of course Missile Command (and Space Invaders naturally, but that one is classic enough that it hardly needs to be mentioned). Still loving the series - can't wait for the next one!

Definitely pleasantly surprised to see Riddle of the Sphinx rocket up to #1 as well, but man, that game is so crazy deep for what it is. LOTS of cool things happening in that game. Raiders of the Lost Ark is definitely on the "to be included" list for sure as are Asteroids and Missile Command (and funny you mention Space Invaders - that's in this coming episode!). You can find a hack/homebrew of Venture called Venture Reloaded that has more levels and much closer to the arcade on 2600.
