I started collecting ROCO Minitanks in the late 1950's. I still have all of them up till 2010 including special editions.

Cool tanks, i remember going to the hobby store as a kid. Back then the rocco tanks were packaged like hot wheels.

I've never seen this style of packaging before. I remember the Hot Wheels type followed by small boxes.Anyway, here it is!

My first minitank was a sherman tank for which I paid .49 cents. I still have around 70 or so. Thanks for the memories.

59 cents!?! Those were the days! You had 70? Holy moly. I think the most I had was 13 or so. You remind me of those boys who had grocery bags full of them! I think I have 39 now. I would have to look it up.

I opened one up after filming and it was all in pieces. It appeared to be in mint condition, but without being assembled you wouldn't get a good idea of what it looks like.

The m-42 "Duster" was an AA vehicle. I believe it was mostly used in vietnam.

You are right. After I made the video I looked up the various vehicles. I wish I had my military vehicles encyclopedia handy while filming, but it is what it is

Cool, looks like you have some awesome things there! I have all the colours of tank BMC do, including the pink tanks too. Your right, it is good to have a hobby collecting army guys. I'm 35 but I don't think you're ever too old for this pass time, and like you said. Who are you harming? I had work experience today, hopefully when I get a new job I'll be able to be more active in the army men community. This morning I purchased the civil war soldiers you have, and a bag of white army men as well, I think I mentioned it to you earlier. My friend Vicky also gets me army guys from various shops here in the UK.

The M-47 Patton Tank never saw combat. It was a replacement for the Pershing and Chaffee tanks it later evolved into the M-48!

I've just noticed you haven't blurred out your address, you don't want just anyone knowing where you lived. I would block it out if I were youj ust for security concerns.
