They use walkie talkies to communicate with each other. To the people in Jersey just get a radio and keep going through the channels. You'll find them.

I had one of these drones approach my home in rural Maine last night. I could see the lights out my bedroom window and thought it was a plane. It stopped and hovered over my back lawn for around 30 seconds. I was kind of in awe just trying to make out the shape of the craft. About the size of a large SUV. All illuminated with the same lights and shape you can see in the videos. It then just continued on coarse heading due west. It was loud enough to hear inside my home but a jet, plane or helicopter at this distance would have been very loud. I reported this sighting to the FAA and they called me today for an official statement. To the people in these comments saying this is nothing and you can buy drones anywhere . These are not the same drones and they are not planes. These are huge drones that must have a tremendous range.

I had one actually land on my back lawn. 3 living organisms came out. Taller one in middle , 2 shorter ones slightly behind him. They nodded at me. Waved a weird thing. My body went into like a stone state. Then it stopped. The taller one walked back to the ship. The two others started to follow. One of them turned around , sent me a mental message that he diesnt mean any harm. Also told be specifically to go on KZbin and write this. He said no one will believe me , but I Still must do it. True story.

There are some simple an d logic questions to raise : If the owners of these objects had bad intention, they could have made them invisible ( no lights) to spy or to act in some bad intention manner, but they operate with christmas illuminations ( almost) . Can add that it is quite curious that one of the most advanced country in terms of technology and weaponery ( and litteraly invented drones) cannot intercept any f them , neither explain what they are and from where they come . If Americans really invented those drones, but those date back to European theatre, the fact that it confused Americans back then, doesn't help. I will be frank, it looks like a plane, it does follow the instructions for airplane, lightning scheme etc. It looks like mass hysteria to me to be frank. The whole story that these are owned by companies like Amazon to test delivery functionality is so far fetched. If they were they would be require to have RID (remote ID) and we would all be able to track them with our Drone apps. Maybe I'm wrong and RID is only required for the hobbyist?

Beyond the November 26 Picatinny Arsenal NOTAM that restricted only a 2 NM Radius of Airspace around the Arsenal, the FAA has a NOTAM in effect from December 7 thru 20 prohibiting Civilian Drone activity up to 1000 feet in a large portion of New Jersey ... I'm guessing what we're seeing is highly classified testing of these large, Collision & Position-Lighted drones which are clearly capable of carrying significant payloads likely being launched into twilight night skies from ships[s] possibly just over the 3 mile coastal limit for testing of navigation & surveillance capabilities before being shipped out 'en masse' to "Hot Spots" like the Middle East or Ukraine ... let's see if all this drone activity ceases after December 20 ... Saw them in formation flying over northern Delaware. 3 very low, very close together. Sat outside and saw more flying by same direction but not in the same close pattern. Looked like they were flying over our nuclear power plant. I also work in MD and co workers said they saw some.

As a FAA Part 107 REMOTE PIC my take on this is exactly what you described. In our area, there are Christmas lights homeowners are displaying. There are drones, just last evening up and flying over these displays. Drone companies filming these Christmas lights after dark in rural areas more than 30 minutes after sunset, thus breaking the rules. Of course it is all over our local Facebook page for our town. These and other conversations about drone sightings will add to the incoming administrations argument about Chinese made drones and security concerns of our country.

Some citizens in New Jersey are reported to have been seeing these drones then feeling sick a day or two afterward, with a runny nose, sore throat and cough. They must be sprinkling the cold virus down on them. My wife started getting a runny nose, cough and sore throat, yesterday. She didn’t see a drone though. I hope I don’t catch this “drone cold” before Christmas. My 93 year old mom is selling her house and moving in with us. I’m trying to get the place ready for sale. She has a Spanish tile roof. I took my DJI Mini Drone 4 Pro to see if I needed to power spray her roof. The neighbors across the street watched me take off and fly the little 249 gram drone. They looked real nervous then both were quickly closing their blinds. I swear, if there are new laws banning these drones, I’m going to be POed
