it has a intentional entrance it’s not cut content, if you read dialogue the old heads talk a lot about old amsterdam and the old city, this is it

Do you mean the room filled with cats? *Edit: Nevermind I found a small area under pyramid. When you take the slides on the water itself at the bottomest floor to get to an air lift and graffitti room. You can slide under the small ledge inside that room and find a small area that doesn't have nothing. When I found it there were like 5 or 6 cats inside. But maybe just a weird spawn xD

I assume this area and the one in Pyramid Island is Old Amsterdam and New Amsterdam is build over top of it. I know the devs said there will be no level DLC but I'd still love to see a proper full level exploring the idea.

I've been searching for how to get to this place since I first started the game! In post-game now and still no way to access it, then I see your video come up and knew exactly what it was for! (POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW) I'm hoping that this area is related to some DLC involving Escher, considering he just kinda disappears with no real explanation and the story just mostly forgets about him.

My only explanation for this is as follows: This is where felix got buried after the murder, no telling who buried him could’ve been DJ Cyber. Flesh prince finds this tomb (since it’s his territory at the start of the game) and puts it on faux’s headless body. Eventually the police find the tomb as well to get the body of felix to give it back to the head. Since Felix was a legend in this game it makes sense that his burial would be this ridiculous. Not to mention this is a good reference to the mummy gang in jsrf, and it’s a very well placed hidden area.

Sorry Squidward, the game does a pretty good job of explicitly stating when Flesh Prince got Felix's head. Felix died above a building that Cyber and Flesh Prince were just chillin' in.

@@juanangelv31 [spoilers] so was the body and the head buried there and they retrieve first the head from flesh prince "using whatever is available", most likely knowing the burial location, replacing it on fauxes body. so then when Reinhard brings the body of felix up in the last chapter, how the h did she find it or know its location? i recall dj cyber almost being held liable for f death when faux was the one, so does that mean that they only had the head in the first place and buried it there while the body of felix, fbis most wanted - was confinscated from the scene and Reinhard having enough access to retrieve it, since it seems theres no way she would know where that would be located

I personally think it also implies that dj cypher didnt take felix’s mask, but rather recreated it; since the tomb has the massive horn on it while cyphers’ doesnt

Very similar to the pit in the Pyramid Island maze. Seems like it's hidden lore stuff, as New Amsterdam is clearly built on top of the old Amsterdam for unstated reasons. I wonder if there isn't a secret area like this in every borough.

It's both, if I'm not mistaken when unlocking an area in Mataan, the oldhead will directly mention that New Amsterdam was built on top of Old Amsterdam. Another example of this is located in the pyramid island maze that you unlock for 200 REP, where somewhere in the maze you can find a big hole, go down and you find the remains of Old Amsterdam with the last tree in all of New Amsterdam.

​​@@Vashabout "Vinyl Winter" its located in Pyramid Island backrooms or something. Found that you can climb with umbrella prop if you keep kicking and jumping from it. Also rooms there are consistent, so you can memorize paths (for that outfit I think its: "Left Right Forward Left"). Out of curiosity I found that there are 10 rooms, and map on pause menu can be used as compass to help match memorized paths on which enterace will lead to.

you can also just clip into the left side of the jd sign and access a lil' out of bounds area with an escalator, and you can just clip into the hole from there

if you are missing heaven spots, then the area you are talking about is at the end of train track above Versum Hill, if you grind along then when it blacks out it takes you to a new area.
