Today marks the first anniversary of what I honestly consider to be one of the best YTPMVs I have seen in my life. When you're a confirmed composer more than video maker, and you have already made three stellar and inspiring full-length albums, like Robyn did, you know that an audiovisual product like Mystery Messenger can only contain the same level of greatness. More than the visual presentation, which offers what Robyn does best, as it's def her recognizable style, the way the notes are put on the mptm module, and of course the A minor tonality (which is Robyn's favorite scale) makes you immediately notice her creative genius. She really is able to pull off original YTPMVs like no one can. Happy birthday to this video. A true gem, very important to me. Thank you, Robyn!

Knew there was an important vid I missed.... What I love most about your visual style is that it has a lot of really polished concepts of movement, composition and colour. It's a lot of really simple-at-its-core elements that all come together extremely cohesively. I talk a lot with people about this concept of being sure that the most important element is front and center, and you do that extremely well while still allowing all the other things going on to be eye candy in their own right. It's extremely impressive and it shows how much attention to detail you're willing to put forth. And that's not to mention all the musical and audio-design related skills you're showing off lol

Holy shit, this was already one of my all time favorite YTPMVs but I'm just now discovering you COMPOSED THE SONG TOO?!!? (I didn't read the description, I know, cardinal sin). I was always under the impression the bgm was from some obscure 90's videogame with a killer soundtrack composed by an unknown artist who was sidelined in their day because the game didn't sell well but they gained a cult following afterward a la Tim Follin, Jereon Tel, etc. But you made this?!?! YOU MADE THIS! I love whole originals like this and this is peak. This is kino. I'm blown away. Sorry I'm freaking out but, like, damn. Wow. Visuals were already excellent, whole new perspective now knowing you made the whole thing.
