There was a saying that they do human sacrifice here fooling people that Mata parts fall in this area and monthly periods are not true they are instead sacrificing human blood and it was recorded in our ancient History also that once upon a time while our ancestors enter India all the way from Tibetian and Myanmar they required boat to cross the rivers of Assam for which they requested the King of Ahom but King of Assam asked most beautiful women among them to be his wife then He will provide boat in so they agreed and left most beautiful sister to be the wife of king in exchange of boat and this Kamakhya temple is built in rememernce of her and before many of our people who enters this temple found the image of picture in this temple was non other than girl of our Tribe itseems there was some sorts of symbol our people started laughing when they see people worship that's why our people are not allow to enter Kamakya Temple before but now have no idea and this story I heard many times from Mom too .
