Spoilers (I guess??) for the first few chapters of the book. It won't spoil your reading experience, but just in case.
Happy pride! :D
I planned on doing the whole song before, to show all of the events of the book. But then it started to get really tragic and depressing so I just decided to focus on the blossom of their relationship instead. Honestly, this is one of my personal favorites.

That is honestly the best part about the book. You know how this story ends. You read each page with bated breath. Just waiting for the moment when Achilles and Patroclus' fate are sealed. Watching as the story creeps closer and closer to each character's final moments. Even though it's impossible, you wanna shout out to the characters. Tell them to stray away from the inevitable.

"how many times did you watch it?" "yes" I MEAN Apart from the artstyle i loved the color coding in every scene, if i have it right here: Firstly blue for the times when they were still strangers, a cold color. Then yellow for the times when friendship had already sparked within them, a warmer color and also a bright one, just like their childhood together was. And finally pink for the moments romance was present, the warmest of all colors here. It was such a great detail to include and omG DO I LOVE IT

Even though heroes are role models for everyone, someone whom we can pray for our safety, they are just people like you and me: whole lives in needing of affection and a safe place where to reside and peacefully rest. Heroes too needs to heal and feel warm. This is in fact what Achilles' story told us, it shows much more than his mere strength: it was about balance and harmony between the divine/superhuman and the mundane. It is about to respect and do not take for granted the true heroes we met in our short, nearsighted... human!, lifespan. Do not ever forget to be charitable, loving and kind!

IN THE DARKNESS, two shadows, reaching through the hopeless, heavy dusk. Their hands meet, and light spills in a flood like a hundred golden urns pouring out of the sun.

That moment between the two of them always makes me cry... "Because you're the reason. Swear it." Oh how the tragic love story of Achilles and Patroclus hurts the heart. I read the book through tears, but in the end I absolutely balled... "In the darkness, two shadows, reaching through the hopeless, heavy dusk. Their hands meet, and light spills in a flood, like a hundred golden urns pouring out the sun." Now you must be miserable again with me hehehe This animation is perfection, I adore it!!
