Just ordered it! Should be here Tuesday. Man I tell you what I have been searching for the perfect edc backpack, vertex was my first love but in reality the vertex pack I wanted is just too big for edc, it’s more of a bug out bag size. This lil rip ruck looks to be PERFECT

Just wondering how structured the pack is? If completely empty can it be laid pretty flat? I’m looking for a day bag I can pack inside of a duffle on top of everything else while I’m travelling.

It's no thicker than a couple pair of jeans folded in you're duffle maybe thinner

Just how waterproof is the material? I live in a really wet area, and if the waterproof lining gets worn out over time I’d be screwed

Yeah I never had a pack that never looses its coating but id say it's not as water resistant as other models myster ranch sells like their military bags
