I love this style of painting from you - the way you coax the layers of the mountains out through the smears from the magazine pages, and the carving of the details with the palette knife is hypnotic. It is a shame about the fire toward the end, but like others have said, it adds something to the picture, turning it from a crisp winter mountain scene to something dark and ominous. Good work.

Excellent use of paper onto the mountains, and not just for planets. The effect is really great. The best technique I've seen. Thank you.

And this is why I enjoy watching your videos you show mistakes and not cut them out. Not everything can be perfect and that's okay. The fire made the canvas a little warped but the picture still looks pretty awesome. Thank you for being awesome Peace and love to you and your family 💙💚💙💚💙💚

Absolutely love this one!! I really appreciate you posting this. I’m a beginning spray paint artist and it’s very easy to get into a headspace thinking that those type of mistakes don’t happen to other people, so this video reminded me that mistakes can happen to anyone! Even professionals. And it’s no failure by far. Beautiful art as always!

It still looked beautiful even after the burn! :) Just different. I would have secured that canvas down though. The shifting would have made me crazy. :) That is why I don't use the flame thrower. ;) Going to start doing a spray paint art planet scene on the hood of my van tomorrow... probably going to take a few days to complete since I don't have a garage to use. The weather will be reasonably warm and dry so I have that to be thankful for. :) I will likely share photos of it when done on my Instagram. - Heidi

i have to admit, this kind of technique, it hits different than your usual, that mountain looks stunning! i hope we can get another version of this painting but without any speed up! edit* : you really use bob ross technique here, but with spray paint, and i love it! 😁

It is beautiful, but it looks weathered and old after it caught fire. So now it looks like a vintage old map from times of old. Which is pretty dang cool. Glad that y'all are safe and nobody got hurt.

Even though it didn't turn out as you may have expected I gotta say...It looks super sick! That greenish value the fire gave the painting makes it look like a LOTR abandoned fortress. You should paint a giant spider on top of it and some spider web hints!!!. Consider doing it

Would it be possible for you to sell some on your web store? Also, have you ever considered hosting a kind of workshop where people can come to learn spray paint art from you?
