I watched this video a second time recently and I really love this theory. I should've said this in my last post and kind of held back, but this theory serves an additional purpose for the Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. It keeps the series from fading into memory. Especially since it hasn't made into a box collection or put onto any streaming services. Man, after watching this twice, I really wish someone like Boom! Studios would reboot this show into a long ongoing comic book series on par with the Power Rangers comics or an animated series.

It has definitely been abandoned not sure why vr trooper, beetleborgs, and ninja turtles: the next mutation were (at one point) on Netflix but this was not. Its obvious Saban didnt think much about connecting these shows, but it would be awesome if boom or netflix started to do this.

Last year my account was temporarily blocked and I was unable to login and leave comments or subscribe but now I have solved my account problems. I love Mystic Knights and Mystic Force and your theory is very cool too. Nick is one of my favorite Red Rangers and he is under appreciated by many fans who think that he’s either too stubborn or impatient but I like him because I can relate to him due to the fact that we both had to move around a lot growing up and he felt out of place when he first came to Briarwood. Your videos are very cool. There’s another Ranger fan on KZbin who calls himself Morphin Master but your channel is better than his in my opinion! Keep up the great Power Rangers videos! Someone actually put Mystic Knights on dvd... not sure how legal it is but he does sell them. Nick gets a lot of hate. I think its because a particular youtuber did a whole video saying he was horrible and people just kind of went with that narrative even though a lot of what he said isn't researched very well.

That was a great theory but I have an additional one that possibly might help. If we remember Logad had some magical power in him. When he used his ax he had the power of thunder. And also he became a good guy at the end of the series.

1:17 I know I’m judging purely on appearances but to be honest I think you can make similar guesses about other shows like VR troopers, Beetleborgs, Masked Rider and any that I’m forgetting. I had a headcannon for a while that the beetleborgs’ final battle against Nexus was interrupted by the invading forces of the United alliance of evil, nexus may have joined them I don’t know but the beetleborgs fought in Charterville but like the rest of the forces of good(gold rangers, phantom ranger and blue centurion) they were overwhelmed. Eventually they did fight back maybe with Justin coming to support them(I was a kid when I came up with this head cannon so I’m not sure if it makes sense). As for the VR troopers and masked rider I can see pretty much the same thing having occurred but with one difference. They were defeated, we see the beetleborgs armour again(though yes in the machine empire which could have a few explanations including salvaging the remains of Gargantus) but if the vr troopers or masked rider had won we’d have seen evidence of their existences, I think the fact we don’t points to a grim reality, that their respective powers were utterly destroyed by the United alliance of evil(which I think makes sense, evil doesn’t have to hold back). Still I think all this is attaches together with sticky tape(which is unfortunate but hey what can you do?)

Lol. Zed repaired his staff with duct tape. This makes me want to see an “mighty morphin incompetent rangers” show. The bad guys are incompetent at being evil and accidentally end up being helpful. The heroes are bad at being heroes and just end up causing minor property damage and minor bruises and sprains for the bad guys. The good guy mentor and support character would just be face palming the whole time at their team and questioning their life decisions, although one of them would be an alpha bot that would go on about “you should have let me go to law school, the litigation for all these property damage cases is getting out of hand” Whole thing would be played for “dad joke level” comedy.

When I teasers for Knight Squad (Nick 2018-2019), Mystic Knights came to mind in its promo material. It is a comedy like Thunderman’s and Henry Danger/Danger Force, also Nick Super Hero sitcoms. I’d toyed around with a Mystic Knights sequel around the same time I implemented Henry and the main Thunder siblings (bar Phoebe, who goes through another evil phase) into my ideas for Kyuranger. Deirdre and Garret have a son who is the red ranger, Blue and Yellow are his friends, Pink is a princess from mainland Europe with a new older knight showing up as the green ranger and functions more like the Mystic Force rangers with his Megazord. They get an epilogue team up with Knight Squad where the main 6, plus the boys of Kraken Squad, become rangers-one team under Ryker with a Morpher that keeps them under their control, the other using weapons ala Mystic Knights. The Knight Cast comes back (reprise, as well new roles) in the following season. I also had the idea the Pink knight and Lupin Yellow would be played by the LeBlanc sisters to replicate the Sudarso brothers from Dino Charge and Ninja Steel.

I also turned Ryusoulger (Dino Fury) into a Knight Squad spin-off where Red/Blue/Pink/Gold were apart of Manticore Squad, with Fizzwick (recurring character who was the janitor because he was too young) leading Panther Squad (because he was in Black Panther). However, Gold was lost and supposedly died on a mission and they were banished to the real world and are now living on a college campus that has lost its dignity from the corrupt administration that ran it before, so the mentor easily get them integrated without anyone noticing. Although Green and Black aren’t siblings, green is a goth female and the girls don’t really get along. Gold is kind of like Jonah and ends up regrouping with the others, being awarded his arsenal by a real Mosasaur. Despite being the sequel, it is the basis of a new semi-interconnected universe that only has direct ties to Jungle Fury outside of every season after this show (Chivalry Force).

Thoughts Thrax was actually the result of when Rita and Zedd first met since Zed is Rita's boss and works with Rita's father before going to Earth they have an established relationship. This would explain why he doesn't show up in mighty Morphin The sentinel Knight had already banished him just like his mother making it impossible for him to actually show up in mighty morphin and the Z-Wave is what freed him

The part of this theory on Zed would work if the Boom! Power Rangers comics hadn't revealed this year that Zed is the same race as Zordon and the "Z-Wave" from the end of Countdown to Destruction turned him into human because it didn't have the power to restore him into normal Eltarian form because at the time when Andros shattered Zordon's energy tube Zordon had already been significantly weakened after getting drained by Dark Spectre. Yes, the comics are technically in a different timeline but it can easily be said that anything in the comics canon that doesn't contradict the (admittedly tenuous) canon the shows have setup IS CANON for the shows. Thus, Zed in the show's timeline would have also been the same race as Zordon and the comics give a very well thoughtout explanation for why Zordon in the show never mentions this. The Eltarian general that has recently shown up in the comics split of the timeline explains that Zordon was never around when the Zeo crystal turned Zed from his normal Eltarian form into what he looks like when we he enters the story in season 2 of MMPR. Zordon was never informed that this happened to his former friend until when the Eltarian general recently told him in the comics split of the timeline and then Zordon told the rangers quickly after that meeting, so since he didn't know of the event in the shows original timeline because the Eltarian general never showed up he couldn't possibly mention it.

Celtic Princess has the first like 20ish episodes. They released a DVD set or VHS set of the first 20 episodes in Germany. I think they took the video from that and dubbed the american version on top of it. But the episode titles are in German. As far as I know that is the only professional released edition of the episodes. So the second half is pretty rough quality on other channels on youtube.

I always found it weird how the Mystic Knights if Tir Na Nog was the only Saban Toku show with no connection to Power Rangers. Masked Rider and even TMNT Next Mutation had a connection on the show, with Beetleborgs in the comics.

I'm from Alabama and I can tell you why mystic nights the toy sales were down at least in Alabama it was very popular in Alabama but the problem was you couldn't get the toys in any of the stores in Alabama so you would have to go all the way to Georgia or Florida or have somebody in a whole another state get them for you and send them down here because that's how I got all of my mystic night toys

well in the irish mythology in the ulster cycle maive is the good character and king conor is the evil guy he is a pig in irish mythology who makes a pass at maive and she exacts revenge against him. he then violates deadra who is not even his daughter in the ulster cylce and its really strange decision to make deadra the daughter of the guy that perves on her as a child and locks her in a tower and then marrys her off to the guy that kills her lover.

I honestly think the king is still the evil one. He shows that he is a bad leader throughout the show and it really isnt explained why Maive is evil. Its just sort of decided at the beginning. I think it would be interesting if thr King was the evil one in the end and the Knights had to stop him

I have a theory that Rowan went bad at some point not for selfish reasons but I think he and Deidre got together she died and it sent him down a dark path. I believe he wanted to revive Deidre at first then the more power he got the more his goals changed as his humanity slowly died. Rowan's element is fire and The Master is associated with fire i believe.

@@mightymorphinconspiracythe5024 Thanks I'm doing a rewatch and loving the show. Especially loving how Queen Maeve is such an evil villainess and unlike most Saban villains is actually competent. There's a scene with her and Rowan where she says "Understand I will stop at nothing." It got me thinking if she had been robbed of her birthright like she claimed maybe she didn't start out malevolent. I figure she had her kingdom and loved ones taken from her by Deidre's grandfather when she was young and in her pursuit of power had her children taken from her. All of which would turn anyone cold blooded. That's when I realized if something like that could happen to her it could happen to Rowan as well. I also like the idea of him displaying traits similar to Maeve when pushed to extremes. I also love the idea of him being Nick's grandfather and for Nick to get a comic arc where he learns about the Knights after The Master returns and discovers The Master is Rowan. I think a comic story that bounces from each generation of the family with parrallels to each of them would be interesting. Like Maeve losing her kingdom and children. Rowan losing Deidre and his son Leanbow, going power hungry as a result. Then Leanbow's sacrifice and corruption finally to Nick returning and settling down with Madison when the Master returns threatening his new life and family.

I think there are Nick is certain descended from the warrior draganta and is the current warrior draganta, but there are many more generations between them as the time period mystic knights is set in is pre christian Ireland (so from around 1700 to nearly 2000 years ago). I think Leonbow is wearing the red mystic armour and his red wolf warrior form is the most powerful tier of the armour after battle fury. Fireheart must be descended from Pyre.
