Not their best ride announcement IMO. The video is kind of weird how it took over the whole park instead of focusing on the land where the ride would sit. Mystic Timbers ad a roller coaster is fantastic though and is one of the best at Kings Island. I do wish it was a little longer and I also think the shed was over hyped by enthusiasts, but still better than sitting on a brake run and the ride is relentless. Banshee, hands down, had the best ride announcement. The video of SOB crumbling and that bone chilling scream with the stats of the ride was just awesome.

+VenomousRuler272 no actually. My routine is when I visit a video, I watch the video and leave. My routine isn't "ok well before I watch this video I must read the description just in case" just because we're coaster enthusiasts doesn't mean we have to read each other's description. But tell the truth, if your watching a video called "Kid Is Attacked By Snake In The Pool" would you read the description? Probably not. Some doubt you read every description and it's not my priority to read descriptions of videos that I'm not even that hyped to watch. So the real question you should be asking is "gosh who reads the description these days? NOONE!" 😑

the only time people look at the description is if they hear a song they like and don't know the name of it so they check the descriptions, unless they are really trying to avoid the description and leave a comment asking

To the people complaining that Mystic Timbers is a disappointment: Size isn't everything. It only has about a 100 foot drop, but the ejector airtime and intense turns will make it a fine addition to any park. Mean Streak is 160 foot tall but one of the worst coasters out there. The Son of Beast was 200 foot tall but even more painful to ride than a vekoma SLC. Mystic Timbers will be a better ride experience than either of them. And the cheap price tag that comes with a GCI will allow KI to invest in another coaster soon again.

I think next season, just to add to the theming, they should add a little bit of grass and moss to a lot of popular attractions like they did in the video. There should be moss on the supports for the rides that they showed in the video. Even if it's only there for a couple weeks, it would be a nice touch. Of course they couldn't put it on to the extent that it was in the video, but would be a very minor detail that would make King's Island even better in my eyes. I'm very excited for next year!!!!

I think the theme is a tad bit silly. But at least they didn't call it Daughter of Beast, Bride of Beast, Half Cousin of Beast, or Distant Relative of the Beast . . .

I went to Moreys Piers last night and I live in maine and im in wildwood for vacation and I walked up and the guy literally told me to go to row 7. Im not kidding. I straight up said no, pushed past him and got In front row. he started at me and then said whatever. I was NOT going to become a meme.
