Theories : What if the AQH loading screen when they are walking through the mountains is a trail we will take to get to Mystic Valley or Star Academy? What if they are showing a sneak peak into the mountains. What if they change the Star Academy from a Singing / Dancing School to a Riding Academy? We go there to choose what we want to learn and they allow you to try it out for people who don't know about a lot of horses disciplines. Or we get to choose two classes like barrel racing and cross country. Maybe we can also have a class to learn about our horse breed that we are currently riding or something similar to the stable button you can click to move the horses stalls and we click on the horse and it gives us information on there most likely face markings, coat colors, etc. New Theory, Possibly Mystic Valley Music? I was just in the SSO Friends App, and I saw that there was new music that I haven't seen before, and it is called Jorvik's Lullaby. It sounds very magical and it could be the music for Mystic Valley. SPOILER FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T DONE THE SAVING ANNE STORYLINES : Will Elizabeth come back? When she was turned into crystals and blew up, she was considered deceased. You know how the starbreeds like Starshine or Concorde have had many previous forms? When Concorde was brought back it showed that magical horses / maybe magical people, could come back in different forms. Maybe this Starstable's way of updating her NPC. Imagine there being a quest that we go to take a trail to try and rescue Elizabeth and go to Mystic Vally to learn more magic and bring her back. Like Elizabeth said before she died, "There are so many things I haven't gotten to tell you / show you." Or maybe we discover Star Academy which could be turned into a Magical Academy to fit with the game's fantasy theme to go and learn more magic, we've already gotten missons. We already know there are magical people all over Jorvik and maybe they go there to learn how to control themselves. And we can bring her back. Edit - Thank you for the interest! Hm. I read somewhere that they take places for future ones in such locations and until their time has come, they use objects, environments and textures for tests. And if my memory serves me right, at the very beginning of the game we are told that our character arrived in Jorvik not only at the summer riding school, but also for admission to the University of Jorvik. Which suggests that the character planned to stay for study. Although, apparently, the character will not enter any university, the character must save the world.

You are correct. I have the screencaps of the beginning text. It basically says we are to "save the world" and then after your summer adventures in Jorvik "once peace is restored" it hints at our characters staying, making a home (hint the furniture store in Governor Fall would come in handy then) and applying at the University of Jorvik, which gives us an idea how old our character is and that we might be studying and thus set us on a new adventure. This also goes with the idea in this video where we pursue new places that hold these buildings as in past Star Stable games. So all in all you are on the right track my friend. :) It's all pretty exciting!

Well, sso said there will be no new areas in 2020, because they are updating areas. However, about halfway through the year, they haven’t updated hollow woods, Valedale, and the center of Jorvik. There is that castle in golden which I think we may get in 2020. Also, in the book, it looks like star stable has all of the area above Jorvik planned out. With names and such and where they are going to be

partial areas of mistfall (when it was called “firfall”) were used for testing in 2016. this included new lanterns for the updated village designs, checkpoints, and NPCs. mistfall was released a year later. so, i suspect that this IS the area, and since they’re already developing it, why not use it for testing?

I mean speaking of test areas, that's what a lot of people believed when people were going into mistfall before it was released. It was thought to be a test area and looked fairly similar to what we see in this new area, so tbh I think they might be working on it, maybe used as a testing area right now but who knows.

How to get into SSO files if anyone's interested: Just go to your SSO folder, then into PackFiles folder. Then open .csaheader files with Notepad and that's it. Scroll down in the Notepad to see the files. xd

As far the areas go, I think you guys are looking too much into it. It's obvious that they work on bits and pieces of new areas as prototypes, so that we don't have just a blank wall beyond the borders of the playable maps, but I don't think they have decided on what those prototype areas really will be. They are just prototypes for now. I believe them when they say we won't have any new areas this year, but it's perfectly understandable that they are adding things here and there which will, no doubt, simplify the creation process in the future when they really decide to heavily focus on making new areas.

I wish there would be. I'm sure they are working on Mystic Valley, the top left side which is gray and massive. People say they've been working on it for about 2+ years because they used to add new places every year and suddenly stopped to update others which shouldn't take the 2+ years. Hmmm. They have also been updating inside the gray part if you glitch in, it used to look old, but it was updated.

SSO said that there are going to be no new areas in SSO this year (2020). Someone commented on one of SSO's IG posts, at the end of 2019, right before new years came, and asked if any new areas are coming in 2020, and SSO said no they are only going to be updating current areas, so I don't think there will be any new areas because SSO said in writing there won't be. For those of you who will reply to this and say that StarShine Ranch counts as a new area, it doesn't count as a new area. An area in SSO is all of those sectioned parts of the map you see, where it changes color and is labeled one thing, for example: Hollow woods, on the map where it changes to a bunch of trees, it's labeled Hollow woods, but the places inside of it are still part of Hollow woods, not a new area. Same with Firgrove, Valedale, Dundull/Mistfall, Everwind Fields, etc.. A new area would be if we got one of those grayed out parts of the map.

We won't be getting northern jorvik this year for sure. Please remember that since this game is 3D and an open world with fantasy graphics. It will take a very long time, 5 years or more really. Sso puts way more detail than we credit them for. Plus, they said there won't be any new areas coming in 2020.

This is totally not related to the video, but I got thinking about soul riders. As we know in Epona there's a character who goes by the name Mrs x. She's a total mystery and we never learn her actual identity. Which means, she could be another form of Elizabeth or Aideen, who knows. Although, the questline share some information that is helpful. During a quest we talked to Mrs x she mentioned something from GED by the name of CHILL. CHILL has a important npc, "syntax" who is known to be able to hack everything. Could he be secretly working with darkcore, and could also be related to garnok. However, how exactly is Mrs x getting all this information? What are her ties to the soul riders and GED? And her name does also give us clue. Her npc name is "Mrs X" which means she's married. This leads us to one of the bigger questions. Who's married to Mrs X? Does he/she have the same knowledge as Mrs X herself?

I had this odd glitch for a while in star stable where when I looked at the water I had an odd reflection of some sort of landscape, it was fairly flat but had logs and hay bales scattered around the place. Then when I went to Dino and looked off the side of an igloo I thought I saw the same thing from the water.

ok. heres a list of the many things i want in SSO. I would like the game to be a little more roleplay like. Maybe your own apartment/house (country style) cottage thingy with your personal outdoor stables during the summer updates. also, maybe a few jumps in one of the Moorland arena's for some new players that cannot access outside of fortpinta and moorland. when i was a new player and found out that you could jump after a certain quest or level, i was so determined to get to that quest or level. but, i couldnt because of star rider. so it would be beneficial for jumps in moorland to practise for championships. Talking of the champs, i think it would be nice if you could get a little race board beside all the championships. This would be very useful for practising. You would not get any rewards since it is only practising. Also, some better rewards for the championships. I'd like to stick with the medals. But maybe add a second prize maybe like 20-100 starcoins if you get 1st place. the rest can stay the same. Please like this comment if you'd like these two thanks !

okay so i suppose the northern jorvik is a test area for now because every game has a small area somewhere where the devs work on models in the game etc. there's spots under the map in skyrim and hidden rooms in ark where the devs put weird things way out of context and in different positions. I'm being pessimistic about this because i don't want to get my hopes up. i want the whole map updated before we get new areas preferably. so i am sticking with the thought that this is a test area for now for future quests XD i like code diving (cave diving but with code duh) and I'm still new to it (i bugger up my game way too often when fiddling with files still) and i have found several files with mystic valley. obviously i don't want to disclose how i got there because it's technically illegal but i have found files names mystic valley crack, mystic valley shortcut, mystic valley test, mystic valley foliage (i think that's what it was called) and some stuff written for quest dialogues in mystic valley. i found lines of code written for the big four and for dark core (it was a bit ago that i last checked i do apologise if i got this wrong, it is very possible i'm thinking of the other place) such as dialogue, paths for them to walk (??? i am not english so i don't know if this is the right words XD). i do think there may be some quests there in the future but i don't want to work myself up about it in case it's scrapped. EDIT: removed curses because I'm not sure if a small will find my comment

Since you’re one of my favorite sso you youtubers I wanna share this theory with you. Ok so we all know the old hillcrest right? And we all know that it is under construction and that we can’t access it. Also sso said there will not be any new areas unlocked in 2020 cause they wanna update the already existing areas. I think that you should make a video summarizing the main story bc I think I'm not alone when I say I don't read the story quests, or any quests, I just skip through that and now that leaves me wondering all about the story that would probably be answered by reading the quest line. I'm sorry star stable but i'm a very impatient person and a slow reader, so if you could make that video or if you have one please reply to this. One question that I really need an answer to is: (SPOILER ALERT!) If Elizabeth is dead then can't we bring her back like with Concorde? Edit: we are the re-incarnation of Adein, right? so we would be able to use all the 4 circles, so we have a combination of all of the soul riders' powers right? do we have the memories that Adein had when she was alive? is our soul horse (our starter horse) a re-incarnation of Adein's original horse? I don't think we can bring back Elizabeth, like the storyline says, there have been many DIFFERENT versions of the most important starbreeds, for example Starshine or Tin can. When Concorde died, he came back as a different foal but still knew who his rider was. There is a chance Elizabeth may come back but she will not look the same and may act different too. This might be StarStable's way of updating her NPC. But we won't see her for a while longer.

I think as the game is clearly FAR from done, one day we will get Northern Jorvik. Maybe not now, maybe not for a long time, but one day in the future I believe we will slowly unlock sections that aren't on the current map. This game has been expanding for years, and I don't think it will slow down once they "run out" of space on the existing map - I don't think they will "run out" because I believe they just simply haven't completed the map. Or, they have but it's not important right now and will be later.

I don’t think they placed that area there for nothing.. It could be for testing, but wouldn’t they put that in another place? On a small island for example- Although it’s probably gonna take awhile, I do hope there’s gonna be another area someday!
