The second one about people falling asleep in a town in Kazakhstan has been solved. Scientists found out that it was due to a Heightened level of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in the air after a uranium mine was closed down after the fall on the Soviet Union.

The city experiencing the Toahs hum might be near a steel factory or something similar. A town in Canada called Windsor was experiencing the "Windsor hum" which was a constant low frequency hum that would sometimes be so powerful that it would subtlety shake houses and windows. They discovered during the pandemic that a nearby steel factory's blast furnace was so loud that it would carry the hum over a mile away, ending up in Windsor.

i don’t believe it’s the same as only random people can hear it and it’s a high pitched ring or hum(or that’s what i’ve heard, i don’t experience it myself) and i’m fairly sure scientists still don’t know what’s causing it

Nope, i actually just read about the hum in my english class (or the equivalent to an American english class here in Argentina) and it also happened in a little town in the UK, they don't have any factory or anything that could explain why there's a hum, or maybe it's already solved idk the article we read was from 2011 lol

The fairy rings have actually been proven to be the grass's ability to self-organise so it could efficiently use water. The termites theory, though popular, was disproved (at least as the only cause of the rings) since after rainfall, the fairy rings disappeared but termite activity stayed the same.

1. Probably the Northern Lights. 2. Carbon Monoxide 3. The grass adapted to do this, it benefits them with more water. 4. A factory testing their boiler resulted in the hum.

oh man, I have something similar to the hum and I'd say its even more annoying. Every now and then I can feel what sounds like something clogging up my ear before that ear starts making some really high-pitched noise that sounds like a radio frequency. The weird part is that trying to cup my hand over my ear to make pressure doesn't do anything to the feeling of my ear being filled, and if I focus on the noise I can make it last forever. Sometimes I've been able to make the noise start on its own.
