I like the forging stick, will be a part of my tooling from now on! I use a wooden mallet but the stick can do what a mallet cannot, never thought of that! You won a sub for that!

Damn, I've been wasting hours upsetting the head because it made sense at the time. Your snakes turned out great in probably a quarter of the time, and effort.

@@Mysticmountainforge keep up the good work! I loved the feather, you mentioned in that vid that you would do some things differently, what exactly would you do

Thanks! I would have made it more pointed, I would have liked to have curved it a little as well, just things like that to make it a little more natural looking.

Thanks for watching, I really like the look that rebar gives them. It's probably because I had to start a new channel, I got hacked and lost everything that was on my other one, 2200 subs, 176000 views and 500000 watch minutes all gone. I am working with KZbin and Google trying to get it fixed.

The fun part is thinking "How's he going to do that?" and then thinking "Of course, why didn't I think of that!" I'm not very imaginative, but I can do most things once I see I t cone.

FYI, that flat bit on the snake is called a hood, not a cape. the confusion probably comes from the name 'Cape cobra', which probably gets its name from the Cape of Good Hope where it was first discovered - and Cape Town also happens to be my hometown, so the Cape cobra is well known to us here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_cobra

@@Mysticmountainforge funnily enough, i made some snakes about 3 years ago and used almost exactly the same technique as you did (even used rebar), so watching you make them was a real joy for me. but a friend of mine went one better and put tiny ball bearings in the head for eyes.
