Oh look, another video, another day of me asking you to make a best team for all of the non gen 9 starters in Scarlet and Violet while trying to avoid repeat mons as much as possible. I feel they deserve it, and it'd be interesting to see how each does in gen 9. It's simple to catch each in the Indigo Disk dlc, and it's easy to breed them for a new game especially with Pokémon Home. There are a litany of good mons to choose from in the base game, even more in the Teal Mask dlc so you'd have a ton to pick from. You got this.

thats always the fascinating thing about MUs lists with typings and the nature of pokemon itself. i wont deny how strong these pokemon are as ghost types or any pokemon on a top 10. but while every one of these pokemon can be REALLY good and can generally crush the main game but youd have to think that any serious competitive player will have checks and defenses to beat these mons...but thats just the nature of the game. the AI in the playthroughs just dont know any better and they send out what they send out but a competitive player would absolutely know how to defend against them.

I always hated how some of the best and earliest ghosts like Gastly were poison type. It made no sense. Ghosts are supposed to be psychic killers but how can they be when one psychic will ko it in 1 hit?

Fluttermane is a cool mon, until you realize scarfed up weavile will always outspeed and 1 shot with stab ice punch. Fluttermane has no defense or hp and nobody is putting a scarf on a base 135 speed mon
