Just because there's no character limit any more. You are breathing for us now. Leave your life here behind. You will never come back home. No sir, never again. You can open your eyes now. Feel my hand on your back? They say it’s time that I leave. I say “I’m sorry for this.” The rest of the planet is racing to find the power that lies to the west of these lines. We are fighting to have it has filled us with greed, and it’s thousands of people like you that we need. Bury your past; your future is ours. Forget any memories that you thought were yours. Get on the boat, it’s time to set sail. If we wait any longer, no doubt we will fail. Don’t ever forget me, ‘cause I won’t forget you. Hold tight to the times that we had when we were young and in love, without a care, my head on your shoulder as we sat on the porch, my hand inside yours. As time past us by, we only grew older; it only got colder until all the fires of burning desire for you and for us and for our family to be. Under the tree it’s easy to see that you really want this as much as I do. I will love you until the day that we die and fall away. I’ll be here to catch every tear that falls from your face; keep it up, darling. I’ll never be gone no matter how long it has been since you have seen my spirit in the wind. I’m sorry, so sorry I’m leaving.

This song will never feel the same as it did the cold night of December 11th 2021. I was fresh out of high school and had just been broken up with and I was just filled with guilt and hopelessness my mental state and hope for my future was non existent and I was waiting in the airport waiting for my spontaneous flight to California after selling my car and throwing away all my belongings I was just done with my current life and was too much of a wimp to make amends or look at the issues i caused my self and to others so I was just going to leave. And that’s what I did. It’s almost been 3 years since I’ve lived in the sunshine state. Alone. I haven’t gotten much better. I guess it’s true when they say wherever you are your problems are there too. At least I’m sober and get to feel every last pinching pain of regret and uselessness
