I think the auto catchers are great for when playing Pokemon Go isn't your main priority, like when studying or eating and socializing and playing in the background... That or when driving around or biking.... It's great for when it is not your main focus... Because FOMO

I find the benefit of the go plus is more when I'm not able to play (driving, biking, etc). Free spins/catches I wouldn't have otherwise caught because I couldn't/didn't use my phone at the time. I always hand catch when I'm playing, but loving using the go plus to help me get some more stardust on the side (and maybe a couple of extra shinies :D).

Strange, my duomon catches shinies daily. But I've also checked my journal and seen a few run from it that would've stayed if it was the upcoming new go plus that uses all ball types. The autocatchers best use is to catch while you're raid grinding or comm day grinding or driving and can't pay attention to phone. Also duomon>go plus. Run main + alt accounts and duomon catches for both. They have a model that connects to 4 accounts as well

I use my "Go Plus" every day. When I take the kids to kindergarten in the morning, I activate the "GoPlus" and enjoy twisted stops. If it catches a few Pokemon in the process it's another nice bonus. For the daily smoke - I deliberately turn off the Pokemon catching, because I want to be active here in the 15min itself. All in all, I can recommend it to any player who plays a bit more than just once a week and can also take the time sometimes at a stretch. It is especially fun to use the "GoPlus" as a passive buddy who simply catches and turns with ;)

I completely agree with these findings. In my opinion, not only can you get more kinds of pokemon, you can use more than pokeballs and can also get curveballs, throw bonuses, and use items. So, not only does the GO Plus feel boring and less accomplishing to use since the game is playing for you instead of you successfully catching the pokemon yourself, you can do alot better without it. For XP grinding, hand catching blows the GO plus out of the water if you have good skill with excellent throws and quick catching.

Statistics works like this: if the input is crap, the output is crap. This a trick that works for decades for the government and companies to prove their point. Maybe not intentionally, but in this case of this video the exact same thing. Counting a shiny from egg is not related to manual or auto catch. But it is used here. Also, it is possible to do raids while using auto catcher. Just do a raid and use auto catch again. So also here, that shiny from raid should not be counted for either manual or auto catch. Same for shadow. What is left after that? Nothing much. The benefit of plus is that you can enjoy the real life environment and still catch. And doing raids accordingly. I can do a nap in a taxi and still catch, can you do that manually? No. So here you go. The input decides the output. I can make the same video but I can make sure that the auto catch will be better as conclusion.

I love playing in NYC! The city is so much cleaner and nicer to walk around now than it was when I was growing up there in the 80s. The pizza! The coffee shops! The parks full of lures! I always have a cbast when I go back to visit. The real method to using an autocatcher is to use it when you can't hand-catch (like while biking or in meetings) and then switch the hand-catching when you can actively play. That way you don't miss out on as many catches during your non-screen time.

I use an auto catcher all the time. I open my game and then just “sleep” it and out it in my backpack. Especially places like zoos, Disney, etc. I can play while spending time with my family. Not having my head buried in my phone. Then while we are in line, I clear out storage, etc. Then back in the backpack it goes.

I have gotten every shiny legendary from raids, the most was Rayquaza with 11 raids and least is latios and lugia with 1. I got shiny lugia both of the first two raids.

I like to think of my auto catcher as a "stardust and XP farm". I use it when I can't catch anything at all (like driving around). The biggest advantage is spinning stops and attempting throws.

The Pokémon go plus is at a disadvantage because it can only use a regular poke ball. As a human u can use a better ball giving u an advantage before u ever started the challenge

In order to have a real comparison you need to give yourself a given time span to catch as many wild Pokemon as possible. Then get bonus points for the really good Pokemon after caring about how many Pokemon with but considering the fact that you know really good Pokemon are going to be more difficult to catch so therefore more powerful pokeballs and curve balls and great and excellent throws will cause it to be easier to catch better Pokemon especially if you add berries. Therefore it's obvious that the human capture will get more better Pokemon however the Pokemon Auto capture is supposed to be for whatever you're not paying attention grandstand you do have to press the button however any player would most likely just make the button stay down.

In my experience using both methods, it’s definitely more reliable to fast catch manually but spins with an auto catcher. If I’m distracted I’ll just throw in the auto catcher. Otherwise I do the combo above
