I'm delighted hiking and camping both came up. After walking the TMB I was looking for a new trail that I could complete using campsites (or bivouac when a campsite isn't available.) I can't find any trails where there are enough campsites all along the trail, and I find the bivouac rules very complicated (I'm sure they make sense to Swiss nationals!) Is there any chance that someone from MySwitzerland could put together a simple guide? Or suggest some trails/itineraries that are suitable for campers? Or alternatively for a trail to be devised with campers specifically on mind? I'm part of a Facebook group with 20,000 members who regularly ask the question "are there any trails in Switzerland where I can camp?" So people definitely want this option!

Overrated and super expensive. Italian, Austrian alps are better, cheaper, better food, beautiful landscapes. Switzerland is the land of speeding tickets, you are in one of their alps town and go over the speed limit by 1km, you get a ticket. Lol😅
