2 coats of wood primer and 2 coats of enamel paint usually delivers perfect result even without using acrylic putty. I have done it myself many times. In this video, the difference is apparent because you only used 1 coat primer and 1 coat paint which delivers poor result on wood due to its porosity.

Instead of mica Maine pu emulsion paint kiya Berger paints ka saste mein k hogaya aur damage portions ko repair bhi kar sakte hai easily.
