With the deepest respect as I love the thoughts and lessons of this man. The modern paradigmal shifting occultist might disagree as they tend to immerse themselves as best as they can from their perspective into the culture to which they desire to practice. Once learned they will practice the mode of that culture, get to know it by "being" it, to the best of their ability to do so, then they will create rites that embody their understanding of that cultural mode with the purpose of invoking that myth and perhaps creating results with it. The mind is also quite powerful at self hypnosis. You read enough of these past wisdoms and it is as though they become one with you, you embody it by immersing yourself in it. Then you can create and perform the ceremonial rites that connect you gnosticly with those symbols.

There's lots more to watch. JC changed my life in 1989 when I first saw the Moyers-Campbell conversations. xo

Perhaps a better way to see this problem is how the Lexicon as Cypher relates to the three points of view as Esoteric, Mesoteric, and Exoteric.

Forced captions are distracting. My eyes are drawn to the movement and I keep reading them even though I don’t have to.

The single word that clicks them all (all cultures, all diversity, all worlds, all systems of experience) is "aum" and the way to find your "centre" is to sit quietly and repeat it.

Well that's so true. For example, utter an "aum" to a true Christian, Muslim or Jewish fanatic and you'll see how they click you down...

.. beautiful.. the Indians have visions, the whites have ideas.. I am definitely on the side of visions... and the Indians have long had Visionary plants. Thank you God for creating these sacred plants for us... Viva la peyote, cannabis, tobacco, and mushrooms.

All creatures seek consciousness-altering substances. All humans, and other beings too. White culture, colonial culture, seeks to eradicate experience and replace it with rules.
