Myth of Capacitance Effect

I've heard people in industry say there is capacitance issue at a head end combiner. Does this fall under this myth as well? Or is there no scenarios of "capacitance". Thinking in head end probably galvanic corrosion, definitely could explain the behavior of it being fixes by loosening and snugging f connectors up
