They had very different design and experimental philosophies but this likely *contributed* to their success (both as TV Show Hosts and Science Educators.) The differences compounded rather then detracted making up the deficiencies either approach had alone.

I'm with Adam on reading atmospheric pressure (though I also understand what Jamie was saying.) One atmospheric pressure (as a unit of measurement) is ~15psi. So (as a unit of measurement) 30psi is 2 atmospheric pressure. Again though, I understand that Jamie was saying only 1 unit of atmospheric pressure was *added* to the system.
