I been playing a white red brash taunter stormwild capridor deck in historic for months now. Deafening clarion, storms wrath, and other damage based mass removal. A couple elspeth conquers death, star of extinctions, and chandra awakened are the extreme end. Does really well against any deck where the majority of the supplicants creatures have the same power as they do toughness. With the new decks that ramp 4 turns and go win, I've been using planar cleansing to reset their board while you get to keep your gideons and taunters to damage kill in future turns. Been getting me past platinum constantly every month. Just saying red white has things worth looking into. Especially if you enjoy doing your own work and brewing.

That's really close to a version ive been running after trying pretty much every other config. The shieldmate is nice because it really survives the stomp and doesn't dye to frostbite because no 3 Manas yet, and blocks early red game. Really good overall. And Kenny with alot of treasures is a BOMB!

I wonder if replacing the Kenriths and the dragons with mauls of the skyclaves and embercleves would be better for this build. The maul could make the staunch defender a real wall or curve out after magda for a more aggressive start. Also staunchy into magda is a turn 3 embercleve, that's kinda fast. To top it all off magda can still pull them out of the deck if there is absolutely nothing else to do and you somehow have made a bunch. Thoughts?
