Mythic Legions Ranking: Sons of the Red Star

Another great ranking video with an overview of the Rising Sons faction. My favorite upcoming figure is Skapular the Cryptbreaker, and for figures I currently own I like Mephitor quite a lot, but can't argue with any of your picks.

Scapular 2 is easily the best of the faction, not even close. Grysha was one of my first Legions, and I absolutely love that one, but Scapular 2 is in another league, definitely among the best of the line in general. Scapular by himself is a stacked figure that looks great, but he also has a completely alternate look with the robes. Sure, he’s more expensive, but only $11 more than a standard figure, and you’re basically getting 2 figures in 1. You could easily throw those soft goods on a Legion Builder, or even a cheap figure from another line, and build out a small group of red robed cultists.

it wild how much more we get in the figures now than even what came a couple years ago. 4H packs so much value into these figures.

@@thestrongcollectors no doubt. I only wound up preordering one of the actual All Stars from the upcoming All Stars 6 wave because why buy Bothar Shadowhorn when you can get Skalli Bonesplitter for the same price in the same wave?

Gryshaa By far is one I'm after . That Figure truly unique in The Head sculpt. Then Sir Girard 3rd Manisha CinderHorn... That's my Choices . Great Video well informed...

My favorite in this faction so far is the Dark Templar, i liked the fins on the horns of the helmet, I also like him because you can have multiple and use him as Hospitaller Knights, so you can create a crusader display and use Dark Templars, then use the regular templars as Knights templars and use the relic guards as Teutonic knights and recreate the historic crusades of Jeruselum in the medieval ages. They are just overall cool because they can double as fantasy knights but for those who are not even into legions they can buy them use them as historic knights as well. I can also imagine people into history buying one to display in their offices or as a centerpiece even

For me its Sir Girard. I just love the Skeletons and he was my first purchase together with Ilgarr. Also the Interview you guys did with Jeremy was the first one i watched about Mythic Legions. It came out right after i noticed the Necronominus Wave and looked ML up on here.

Dude, I was kidding about your beard game. No need to shave LOL!!! I have to go with Keltuss for this faction. I added a cape from Valak that I think gives him some extraness. The Dark Templar is a close second though due to the pop-n-swappableness of it.

Not in hand yet but will vote for skap v2. Ordered 2 of those so i can display either way. Dark templar at the bottom I agree with but have soft spot for...Check out maxbird cape options for these they are fantastic Choose the leaders cape and put on one of the helmets in father christmas and it looks great..

The Black Templar LB was one of my first ML figures ever (I don-t have many anyway - I am just picking some figures here and there if I like them) but Skapular is something that is also tempting me: I will get him when he is out probably!

Do you have the black templar as is out of the box or did you do any pop and swaps?

@@thestrongcollectors essentially as it is out of the box - I like the model as it is but I painted it to a more weathered style. I got him together to the dwarf deluxe legion builder (repainted it too) because I wanted to create some D&D party: Samir would be the mage of the group :)

I think my favorite of the whole faction, is keltus, I may never own him, but he’s definitely my favorite. I enjoy pixxus, and sir girard also, probably because I have those and they have the skeleton heads. Really looking forward to scapular and very much considering uumbra

Skapular Version 2 is number 1 for me. I feel it could be the be best (not necessarily favourite) Mythic when released. Keltuss is my number 2, with Keltuss being in my top 3 of Mythics I don’t have but most want. His aftermarket price is of course highly prohibitive.

I have 3 dark templars and was my favorite of the wave ,but i think they were in the wave before this one . Defintely getting the bear and that unicorn ,maybe cryptbreaker for that golden mask that reminds me of the guy in the sinbad movie the golden voyage .

Scapular version 2 (& I’m displaying him with most his collection) & atlis version 2 was a cool drop, but I almost did all in ! & the bears dope. I bought the most shit from this wave . I’m jonsing bad for new ML figs. I just have 3 & a horse during Xmas BBToys had a few on sale . I hope to see skelator re released

actually, the Demon blademaster, dude, that's built on the monkey king body, that would also be up there competing for first place if not for I find his story a bit lame. again, it's like they made up that story just so they can use that body.

this is probably my least favorite faction, which is strange because I like assassins and roads and being Asian myself, this faction should really appeal to me, but I always find that this faction lacks purpose, it feels like they just got thrown in there to fill out spaces. Anyways, my vote goes to Diis Paatar if for nothing else just because he is very unique and I always find scorpion Seemed characters really cool.

Yeah, I hope they get some powerhouses of their own cause so far they are probably the weakest faction IMO both in terms of strength and purpose. I guess also for me, the idea that the faction is led by a money-loving rogue skeleton just sounds kinda silly too LOL. Wouldn't Necronominous be able to just like, I dunno, wave a little finger and bring Scapular back under his...its? control? @@thestrongcollectors
