Didn't realize he came with that alternative head. I like that option. I would definitely expect to see orcs not wearing boots. This is one of my faves in the wave.

Same ! ... although Orc feet are probably thick enough to withstand stepping on rocks or lose legos.

Thought it may have just been mine with the loose horns. I even tried a few other horns and I think the port is just a bit too wide. Still a great figure.

The Orc Legion builders are really what sold me on legions. We dont get a lot of good orc figures out there, cant wait to grab a good amount at LC. Great review, sir.

Jared, I get the practical use of boots especially armored on an armorered figure. I think the idea was more of a barbaric, cavern creeping orc. Shadow orcs are a primal breed maybe used to surprising foes and need purchase to climb walls and wade through underwater lakes. Armored boots would be loud(compared to bare feet) and be cumbersome in climbing (need toe holds). Water trekking would be dodgy as they could not feel to spear fish with their big toes(yum) or move well.😉 My favorite of this wave. The lack of paint is expected just not needed to be this stark. Terrific review.✌️

My take on the bare feet has been contentious, lol. I think it really just boils down to I don't like the look. I love those big ass clunky "dark knight" boots like Gorthokk has.

Bare feet would be ok on a less armored or like a savage barbaric or tribal kind of orc. Otherwise this looks pretty good.

All of my orcs have covered feet. I feel the same way about protecting the feet in battle.

Well..depending on the ground surface, having bare feet could be an advantage plus to me Orc feet are incredibly thick & durable compared to a regular human soldier. I like how the grunts must suffer a bit while their leader has comfy footwear ;)

horns are indeed quite loose. I'm not really feeling it for this one yet. For me it's my least favorite of this wave.
