Cloudgaming will just allow for companies to continue to restrict ownership rights for players who "purchase" the game. We already see companies telling players to their faces "you do not own these games that you just paid $70 to play"

NOTHING is moving to cloud. Especially not gaming. The whole community was against the "always online" policies. And nobody needs more privacy invading cloud services. If you don't like the idea of self custody (of anything), why are you in crypto? Downloading 90GB wasn't a problem a decade, ago and it certainly is not a problem now. If it was, constant streaming of 4k just to play definitely wouldn't fix it. :)

You don’t know what you talking about check NVDIA cloud gaming subscription, shadow, microsoft is a pass, epic games and amazon too. A lot of people can’t afford a good computer or just don’t want to upgrade every X years cloud gaming is very interesting even in cost and flexibility… with AI hardware energy will be more expensive until we stabilize and games quality are evolving as well very fast.. maybe not as he imagines but some of his points are clearly happening….and your “privacy” already in the hand of the dev. Plus it’s just make sense to not have 5324 accounts and platforms.
