As an Irish Pagan myself I can say you did a great job on the origin of Samhain & you said it correctly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I don't like it but all things must evolve however people should not forget the origin. 🥃 Sláinte 🇮🇪⚔️🖤🐺💀🍷🦇⚰️👻

This video was incredibly enlightening! 🎃📜 The exploration of the true origin and history of Halloween, especially the comparison between Samhain and modern Halloween, was fascinating. I loved how you broke down the traditions and meanings behind the holiday, making it clear why we celebrate the way we do today. Your storytelling and presentation made the history come alive! Can’t wait to learn more about the spooky customs-keep up the fantastic work!

My little community calls it " Fall Festival " or some lightweight BS because the Bible Belt Religious Righters might get upset. These same Religious Righters who get bugs up their tuchis because they can't put up Nativity scenes on public property, etc.

Some places wait till sept before putting out Halloween stuff? Where I live they start putting that stuff out around the end of July as the back to school stuff starts selling down. There was a Lowe’s home improvement that had Halloween lights out for sell in May this year. Most of the Christmas decor was out beginning of September. I hate it! Every holiday should only be given 2 weeks in the stores. Gifts can be at anytime I mean holiday specific items. I don’t want to hear any Christmas music before December

I recall reading that in more recent years they’ve had to put seasonal things out earlier otherwise the shelves would look empty, due to lack of inventory

Good post. KZbin has officially become MORE INTERESTING than the Discovery Channel or History Channel / TLC.

Interesting/informative/entertaining. Excellent drawings enabling viewers to better understand what the orator is describing😉. Engaged in (3) Trunk or Treat festivities weekend of ( 10-25-24 ) Melbourne Fl🐊. Quality time spent with the children🤗.

Born in 1948, grew up in Canada, Rural... Now in Urban Canada, and Halloween is dying... with all the immigration, and the Stranger Danger... fewer and fewer people are decorating or giving out treats. Same goes for Christmas... the number of decorations is dwindling... I miss the old days...

You’re right. I also remember it being warm during Halloween. I’d wear tshirt and shorts. Now we’re lucky if it doesn’t rain or snow…

Great job. The same information on Halloween history but narrated in an appealing, interesting and more down to earth way. I was afraid the narration was going to be AI generated. If it was thanks for correctly pronouncing “Samhain.” 🎃

Día de los Muertos originates way before the colonial era. It is an indigenous celebration.
