This is one of my favourite books :) Stephen Fry is a gift to us.

Me too, I am working my way through all of them and the forth comes out very soon, hopefully.

@@st.george007 love Stephen Fry too but this book is the most complete and chronologically correct Greek Mythology that I’ve ever read. And in addition, Stephen has an entertaining turn of phrase. It even better in his voice.

I love Stephen Fry. He’s on my wavelength. I’m always pondering on how life began and how it’ll end. No one will ever know.

This is a very good book. I am very sad to say that I have an eighteen-year-old student who is completely unfamiliar with the Greek myths. Not just the Greek ones, but all myths entirely. The adults in her life apparently never even told her folk tales or Norse or Celtic myths. I am trying to help her with English - she is meant to analyse Euripides. It's very difficult to do that with no understanding of Greek myths or culture. This book will be a great help.

Is it better (both in entertainment and information) than Percey Jackson and Greek Gods by Rick Riordan?
@Imsoconfusedthesedays10 ай бұрын
@@satwikchivukula8905I believe so. Particularly compared to Percey Jackson. Stephen Fry’s personal tone attached to this book gives it a cheeky charm to the words on the page as well.
