Grunge said George Martin was the president of Parlophone Records when The Beatles first appeared. That's incorrect. Oscar Preuss was president of Parlophone at the time. Also mentioned was how Ed Sullivan came across the Beatles after CBS did a news story on them in December 1963. Ed Sullivan's first encounter with The Beatles was at Heathrow Airport in London. The Beatles were returning home from a tour of Sweden, when Ed inquired about all the commotion going on outside, he was told it was The Beatles. Ed was interested enough to meet with Beatles manager Brian Epstein in New York to negotiate the three Ed Sullivan performances in February 1964.

Yoko broke up the Beatles and I blame Paul George and Ringo for not grabbing the mic out of her hands as she was screaming and tell her to shut the f-ck up and tell John we don't want her in the studio. So what could have happened? A fight? John was going to quit anyway. But he couldn't because of contractual obligations.

Sorry, Yoko had more to do with the break up than you say. Just the look on Paul's face when she would just start howling while they were recording was enough to prove it. Over time Paul speaks on topics and tones things down as though it didn't matter.

Paul can look back now with more perspective and acknowledge everything else that was going on. Yoko may have exacerbated the situation to some extent, she probably did annoy Paul at the time, but that doesn't mean the break up wasn't already on the cards.

@@im1who84u only 800 for the one he had. He had a partially covered album. It was peeled probably 20 percent of the way. So it’s still worth something but not what you’d expect. And taking off the cover is a big risk. It’ll get ruined if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Very nice video on the most amazing band ever. As far as Yoko people can believe what they want. She should not have been at the studio but john wanted her there so what could Paul do? The late 60's were a crazy time and they grew up and needed to see what the world had to offer them on their own. They could have kept the band together and did a few more albums as they had stuff to give. But it never happened. I do know rhey would have done live aid in 1985 with Queen how special that would of been. Still i am so glad they got together and gave us music and so much laughter and were so dam cute. I lived thru them coming to America and beyond.

It's worth remembering that Paul got married to Linda and he started listening to a lot of "advice" his new father-in-law was offering about the group's various business affairs, including Apple Records, and a LOT of that advice (oddly enough) was designed to give Paul a greater share of the group's profits and royalties. For some reason, not only John, but also George and Ringo thought Paul's father-in-law should have (literally) kept his nose out of their business. For all the "Yoko should not have been at the studio" nonsense, there are pictures of Linda showing up at the studio as well (including a few of her and Yoko at the same time) but it's also worth pointing out that both George and Ringo have noted that during their last year's worth of recording sessions, Paul and John would literally refuse to be in the studio at the same time (and both have put a good deal of the blame for that on Paul's father-in-law's business "recommendations").

George Martin didn't mind Ringo, actually. He disliked Pete Best's drumming abd said so after their demo. The Beatles then replaced him with Ringo for their recording session which produced their first single, but as George Martin had already hired another drummer for the session they used the replacement anyway. When it came to recording their first album they used Ringo. If Martin would've had an issue with Ringo he'd have hired a replacement drummer for that too, but didn't. Also we all know The Beatles played on each others tracks post Beatles and did stuff together minus Lennon around the time of the Anthology, but that they never reunited again as a full group is simply fact. Still, not a bad video.
