For the flail, there's a screw on the hilt that you need to unscrew then only you can pull out the bottom hilt as the bottom is lock inside the hilt via the screw.. It caught me of guard too as it doesn't shows in the instruction.

I slightly agree, but in person this Megatron is really awesome. Grimlock is just perfect though.

I like that his response is more pessimistic than the Optimus and Bumblebee, but I wish they'd taken it a bit further. Like, instead of "what's wrong", maybe a really annoyed "WHAT do you WANT?"

You gotta twist the bottom of the hand accessories to take it off. It twists back on to make sure it doesn't come off when swinging them around.

why do the robosen bots have breathing idles? Robots don't breath. It just looks like he's doing a really crap job with his physical therapy

In the app, there is a mode that keeps him standing. Only thing is, you always have to choose that mode, and I've only got it to work in the app. I wish it could be defaulted as that. It stands sturdy but will crumble if you touch it😅

Out of my budget, but looks freaking cool honestly. If I had spare dough lying around I'd probably get it. One thing that bothers me is that it can't transform into a bot and face in the direction that it was facing, but seeing how he tries to "turn around" , I can understand why. Perhaps they could program him to do aa 360 turn then transform or something

As marvelous a tech toy it is I have a hard time getting past seeing a G2 Megatron themed like G1 Megatron to appeal more to a casual audience with bigger pockets. Ideally I would have preferred them to have leaned into the green and purple camo deco, I understand thats smarter people making business decisions. I wonder how these are selling in general as I see Grimlock, which I have, starting to be advertised now in a few pop culture stores over here that would normally get things like the Super7 reactions overflow.

The voice sounds more like Frank's Cykill than Megatron on this video. I am sure it is because of the camera you are filming with struggling to get a lot of detail from the tiny speakers in the toy but it seemed off as I never really thought the two character sounded much alike when I was a kid even knowing they were voiced by the same guy.

You won’t convince me about the tank mode. It’s supposed to be a Luger. If it’d have been a Luger I’d have bought it. The robot mode also looks like it’s on steroids, like a POTF action figure. If they’d have shown some sort of interaction between Megatron and Prime, then it could have been cool too.

In the app there is a cinema, that you can download that will act out different scenes. Some only work interactive if you have both.

The transformations with these things are ALWAYS the showstealer, but as soon as you wanna do different movements it just falls apart for me. The walking is the worst. These wobbly movements just break any wow-moment to me. That's also why I didn't by the moving Blitzway Terminator arm. It's cool for a few things, but then it's just a prop again. Anyone who got this, Prime and Grimlock though: enjoy, don't get offended by my opinion, please. 😅

It's another really cool release from them, but it's not for me. For the hefty price, it seems the novelty would wear off quick and wouldn't be worth it.
