7:43 For the feet you can disconnect the toe piece from the heel piece to gain access to the toe tilt articulation. The peg there seems unnecessary given how tight the joints are.

Love what they were able to do with the Flame Toys Model Kit Drift. Only complaints I have is the lack of ab crunch most likely due to it now transforming but is that really a valid excuse in 2022, and lack of ratchets on the joints. Tensions work fine on the model kits but this is way larger and heavier. Also at this point 3P companies need to start providing lube for their figures, I'm scared at times to manipulate my figures and always have a panic attack watching Bobby manipulate his.

Such a fucking tragedy, because both modes are jaw-droppingly gorgeous. One of the *most beautiful* car modes I have ever seen. If I had this I'd want to flip back and forth between them constantly. but that's obviously impossible without half an hour of focus, stress, and worry. Feels like they should have handed this over to whoever designs for NewAge, and get some serious pointers on how to get the desired result while making all the joints snug and easy.

Really looking forward to mine, yeah it ain't THE Best out there but it definitley is miles better than Stray from MMC. For now this might be the best MP IDW Drift we might get and there's not a lot too improve on (Aside from the Transformation ofc.)

There's nothing new about the folded sheathes at his hips. Hasbro did that on the CHUG Drift over a decade ago. They used the Drift mold for the Blur figure in that line and gave him pistols to store in the folded hip skirts and a sniper rifle to store on his back instead of a long sword.

An example of a figure that "can" transform but probably shouldn't. I don't know anyone who would want to flip this back and forth "for fun" and risk anything here rubbing, cracking, snapping or just driving you mad.

bums me out that this guy has such a bad transformation, i was really looking forward to not only having a good representation of drift, but a really nice looking version of the Asurada GSX as the alt mode.

Good reivew. Wow, this does not look fun to transform. Bet I know which figure will end of with worst transformation of the year...and it's only Jan 11th....unless Unique Toys says "Hold my beer" after winning for Nero last year. The robot design looks nice and the Alt mode looks nice, but the inbetween what a nightmare. This is not a figure I take it you just pick up and flip between the modes. Thanks for being a trooper Bobby.

Love mine. And its definitely DLX scale not masterpiece. Hes to big for masterpiece. For a 110 bucks shipped I wouldn’t care if it transformed.

It's a shame this turned out to have such a nightmarish transformation since it made such a good first impression. I couldn't deal with the Bruce Timm proportions of MMC's Drift so had hoped this would be the one, but that transformation? Hard pass.

All the excuses being Maddie for this figure. It’s garbage. Articulation is less than average. Transformation is a mess. He can’t even hold his sword properly! How do you mess that up? Stop supporting subpar.

He does hold the sword _properly_ though. That's how you hold a katana. Not gripped into a fist. Granted, they probably should have moved the peg about 1mm further down for better clearance, but really you should rotate the thumb 90 and bend the top joint slightly to get it under the guard and that's the look. It's a deliberate design choice.
