same. At least I get some Haste runes and a skill that make me faster the more adrenaline I have so the dupplehandler greatsword is faster and it sorta almost makes up for the lack of proper swords. if it 60% of its length and looked more realistic I would completely accept it.

Gungir's slowness can be offset by equipping gear and/or runes that boost speed and reduce weight ... which also makes it easier to spearfish those newly sped up fish. Yes, you read that correctly - if you do it right, you can partially de-nerf the spearfishing nerf of 1.1.0 using gungir. I've done it.

I did it on the highest level of difficulty. At the beginning with Varin's ax and the blacksmith's hammer, later switched to two spears, never worn any armor other than the fully leveled starter armor, the weapons buffed with poison or fire and I slaughtered my way through the enemy fortresses and monasteries. Poison made the bosses ridiculously easy, only with Ivar it took me two tries.

Actually, (imo ofc) The Briton Shield is better than Bludwulf because it straight up restores a good chunk of health every time you parry. Pair it with Excalibur, which has an ability that releases a sort of ring of fire around you every time you parry, you're pretty much invincible on the battlefield

You can go get the spear while doing the story, just take your left leave sigard there for a hot minute, then go back to him once youve collected it saves you having to make the trip back

uh the Blodwulf shield is rewarded after Grantebridge, one of the first two zones you can do after getting to england. to give the benefit of the doubt, it might be awarded then if you correctly ID the traitor, and awarded later in the game if you do not, but unsure.

I found that using suttungr's claw and the blacksmith's hammer works really well. The hammer knocks people down and then you can do a stomp on them. Works great

I have the Kopis dagger and claw dagger with the same rune as the Kopis dagger. Top it off I have a rune on my bow that heals hitting weak points. I put crit chance on the daggers. Brush with death perk healing perk I have really no use for rations now. As long as I can attack in some form I heal myself

I went to the spear cave early on while exploring Norway. I can't remember if I went left or if the option to go left was there. I have seen other videos that say the only requirement is 4 adrenaline bars unlocked. I'll have to go try and see.

Definitely liked the video, but let's be honest. Until they hotfix all the game breaking bugs the whole game is "broken". It's like playing early Access bd3, make sure you save before and after anything happens and keep 10 saves open, just in case something broke and you didn't know it til you finished shoveling on the side.

2:00 its not like you can miss the weapon first time you are in Norway. You cannot get to that weapon, since just few meters north of Alrekstad there is Ubishit barrier that will kill you if you try to go through it, unless you sufficiently progress through story.

I don’t know what is better, having the best weapon at the beginning of the game, or after slogging through everything. Both kind of disappointing. I always thought the Hunnish Bow was a beginner-type bow because it’s the first one I got but then I keep going back to it because it is so versatile. These games really don’t need these many items, and I abhor the “best” being store items.. but then again, if you pay for something, you want it to be good 🧐

About that shield Blodwulf, I just bought the game a week ago and I got Blodwulf somewhere around 90-100 skill lvl (very early) from a gear chest. Maybe there is a random chance too get gear in chests?!
