As a former Wittier resident, my wife and I moved to Redlands in 1987, I really enjoy this channel. We come back to Whittier about once a month to visit my father-in-law, and I always have a new place to check out.

I like Bark. It's hit and miss though when ordering lattes. One third of your drink can be foam. Thereby making you buy another one only after a few drinks.

In more reliable plain talk, the beans loose freshness very quickly after being ground, so one should only grind the beans just before brewing.

Do you know if hooked on coffee is a name change from corner place or new ownership? Once upon a time they had the best chocolate chip cookies at a great price then something changed and it wasn’t as good anymore.

New owners and new name change. The owner is a super good guy and Whittier Local. Corner Place sold to another owner. They kind of ran things not so great. Now the new owner in charge is totally plugged in. Give it a try.

What happened with you ordering cappuccinos to keep them all on the same level? ((Your words, not mine)) Coffee weather.... you're wearing a coat.... and you order an iced coffee. Things that I will never understand.

😂 I’m glad you are watching and paying attention. That is cool. Well I did 4 caps (one is on the way) one drip and one cold latte. I’m going with the flow. I said “coffee weather” not hot coffee weather. Actually she said that was her most popular drink so I tried it. Thanks again for the feedback and keeping me on my toes.
