I bought this bag and returned it right away…. The size of many of the pockets makes the bag not functional for me. Having so many of the pockets go ALLLL the way down to the bottom of the bag, means that you are going to be reaching to elbow deep if you want to find your cellphone in one of the top slip pockets (the ones the pill case and hair clip are in). And if there’s stuff inside the bag and other pockets you’re going to feel a lot of fabric and bumpy objects in the bag as you are trying to find where your cellphone is. I wish, both on those slip pockets, and the front tall zip and inner tall zip, that they had made them half the depth in order to be functional. When I say my arm goes elbow deep to the bottom of the pockets, I’m not exaggerating. It would be infuriating to try to find objects in those pockets. Normally I use those slip pockets for things I need quick access to (chapstick, cellphone, sunglasses, subway pass) and those pockets couldn’t be used for quick access bc of the depth. (Meanwhile the side short slip pockets are too shallow to safely hold those objects). Further, the side outer slip pockets are too short to carry a traditional water bottle. They’d maybe hold a child sippy cup or baby bottle 🍼 that’s short, but even a standard height water bottle would be too top heavy and would fall out. Thank you for the review showing off the bag, but it would’ve been helpful if you put stuff in ALL the pockets, which would’ve highlighted what I consider to be the design flaws of this bag. I love MZW as a brand, and am actually surprised bc it’s not like them to not think through function when they made those pockets impossibly deep, and made the side slip pockets so shallow. It also would’ve been helpful to see the “wearing it” mod shots with the bag fully packed, because the bulk of the bag would impact that a lot.
