I'm amazed to see how many people still think he didn't blow the money!! Here he is, telling everyone, warning everyone about blowing money and yet they are encouraging him. He had 17.4 million. He spent it on booze, women, partying and cars and trucks, the worst investment because they get old and de-value. After all is said and done, how much of the 17.4 million does he have left? A wise person would have used that money to invest and grow into 20, 30, 100 million. My bet is, of that 17.4 million he won, he only has about 5 million left in property. The rest is gone. And this community thinks he didn't blow it. Just shows you how simple minded people are about money and wealth. Only living for today... in the moment!

To whoever will win millions in future, you don’t have to go around splashing it in things that are not generating returns for you. Just speak to a financial advisor to set up an investment that will pay you a monthly salary from investment returns. A simple investment in low risk government bonds could have earned him about R900k per year, paying about R75k per month on a R10mil investment of money left after buying those fancy houses and cars cash.
