I can understand the desire just to stay inside. The world can be full of idiots and weirdos, and sometimes when you set yourself apart from the crowd, the wrong people can have a reaction. Sometimes it can be much less stressful just to avoid people altogether. It's a shame that you've been made to feel anxious and unsafe, but don't let the bad interactions take away your ability to face the world with self-assurance. You should never be afraid to live free and express your individuality. Be careful out there. But also, be confident, because there is no better defense against the challenges of the world than to know yourself and what you're capable of.👍🖤

Ok wait…. What you said about wearing makeup: I have randomly (in the past yearish) and suddenly HATED wearing makeup. I looooooove makeup and used to find it so soothing and fun, but the feeling of it on my skin totally overstimulates me now too! I didn’t realize it was overstimulation until you mentioned it…. So weird. I even just had a conversation about all my expired makeup with my mom last night 😂 loved the video girlie and I hope you’re doing well ❤️

I think people who dress alternative always somewhat have to be careful or at least mindful of there environment when they go out. I myself dress in a Goth Punk type fashion. I have never had major trouble from anyone when I go out but I have had a few looks especially on the days I dress what would be considered more extreme lol. You should never have to worry about your safety when you go somewhere but since a lot of people are assholes for no reason you have no choice but to be cautious especially depending on where you live.

I don’t know if you’ve been to Major toms in Winston Salem but it’s super cool in my opinion the owner does her own taxidermy and she is incredible!
