I need some coverage due to dark undereye circles, scarring, capillaries, & redness. With good skincare, I've improved my skin to the point I can wear just tinted SPF & mineral powder. But corrector for my under eye darkness is necessarily. Barefaced I often get asked if I'm tired or sick. It's OK if you "need" a little coverage. It's not vanity.

In the summer (Dallas, TX) my go to is Bella Bronzer mixed with Glow Illuminator just for color, then Sunlit to brighten my under eye and tzone, a little blush usually Frenchie, Madrid or Desert Sunset, mascara and Bella for eyeshadow too, set with matte setting spray and that’s all. Super simple, easy and not overdone on hot muggy days.

Hi! I am interested in Saint, especially the Demi part and color correction. I did the request for a color match and looking forward to that info. I think your videos are great and real. You asked the question why are you worried about cream makeup sliding off. My reason is that I ride my own motorcycle and I still want to look gorgeous when getting off the bike. I mean why not? 😊 Riding is a double edged sword it is drying from the wind even wherein a mask and helmet *which I do both* so I have super hydrate the skin and SPF alot but it is hot and you sweat especially in traffic. So I need hydrating and durability to a point. I know that is asking alot lol but this bike chick still wants gorgeous with in reason😊 I have high hopes for this makeup, especially the Demi. Any good skincare suggestions for skincare for dry skin and riding motorcycle would be awesome.😆

I use the setting spray for the primer and finish spray. I love Seint and wear it outside gardening and cutting grass. I’m an outdoor girl. I usually always wear makeup because I get up daily and do my makeup. The biggest problem I have is the blush (lip and cheek) lasting no matter what season it is. I use a light layer of powder blush over the lip and cheek and that makes it last. I prefer the satin lip and cheek colors. I also use Seint in a very light sheer application. I still look dewy with powder blush. I love Seint eyeshadow dipped in setting spray for my eyebrows. It always looks 10x better and lasts longer than any pencil or other product I’ve used.

Hi. I have started watching you as I am seeing more aging in my face this year. (I'm 55.) I wear pretty full makeup in high heat and humidity because I sing in a band that plays outdoors in the summer. I really feel like I communicate with my eyes, so that is really important to me. By the time we set up, sound check, and play (with continual dancing), I may be in the heat and perspiring for 4-5 hours. What I used to do doesn't seem to work as well as it used to. I work in healthcare marketing I'm in out of my car.i wear my seint with demi under my eyes, sunscreen, tinted moisture, bronzer and check color. Light color on myneyes ,mascara ,and lip color. I set it with my setting spray. Some days it's a full seint makeup day. Texas heat is brutal.

Hi Michelle :) I live in a high humid hot state in the summer and what I have found that works well is I will set my face with setting spray before and after I apply my makeup. On really hot days I will set it between each application (with traditional layer method to makeup) BUT with SEINT I plan to just apply setting spray before and after. :)

I live in Deep South Louisiana and have very oily skin, but i still wear my Seint makeup everyday. Like you said, i put it on pretty sheer then lightly powder my whole face. Keeps my hair from sticking to my face. I cannot stand that! I can only wear the glossy blushes when i am wearing my hair up. Desert sunrise is my fave (i think that’s what its called). It is so beautiful on the lips. I love Seint and wish i had every product they make! I haven’t tried the eye shadows yet. That is next on my list, along with Dahlia blush. So pretty on you!

To answer your question at the beginning of the video: I’m a speech-language pathologist and I spend a lot of my time running after my clients (children) in their “everyday” environment. This means I am often inside, outside and everywhere in between. I follow their lead and play with them where they want to play as that’s what’s motivating for them; when they’re motivated, I get more language out of them 😏! I love all your videos! Found you yesterday and watched one after the other after the other :-) Ordered Seint brushes last night! I have seint but had backed off wearing it because I wasn't loving how it was looking too heavy but I think the brushes will help! I have another question for you about Thrive-I love it and wear it every day. On really hot days though it will come off under my eyes--which is quite a look! Do you have any suggestions to help with that? Also to answer your question about heavy makeup in heat-I went to a "formal/semi formal" outdoor event Saturday night in Alabama. I was struggling to figure out how to do my face. and by the end of the evening my daughter was telling me to wipe under my eyes because my mascara was down there!

I so enjoyed this video! I live in Northern California, in the east bay, which gets very hot in the summer with that dry heat you mentioned. I'm mostly in air conditioning except for when I'm outside with my grand kiddos. I wear Saie Slip Tint tinted spf, which I've found works beautifully under Seint. Then I dab on truly just a bit of Seint highlight, my Demi under my eyes, Bella in the eye crease and Hollywood Satin blush on cheeks and lips! I love Hollywood over that Pat McGrath lip liner you recommended in a previous video. I do like a bit of dark brown eyeliner, and now I'm using the Make Beauty eye liner you also recommended! It holds up beautifully in hot weather. So many fabulous recommendations from you, starting with Seint. :)

Secondly, you asked what us ladies are doing where we want to wear more makeup. For me: I’m a traveling teacher! I teach year round and I teach in my students’ homes. I teach private piano and violin lessons in a affluent suburb of Dallas. Trust me, Ladies in Dallas Dont go out without their hair done or their makeup done. Now, as a former Okie, I don’t need to get glam for going to the grocery store, BUT I do need to look professional when I walk into a client’s home. This summer it’s already 102 in dallas and going in and out of my vehicle between lessons, my car temp said 107 yesterday! I die. I literally have to say that it’s very difficult to stay professional looking and keep cooled off - if you’re in and out of homes and vehicles, you’re still melting. My home AC can’t even keep up with the heat of the summer. So, sweat is a real issue. I have to wear antiperspirant lotion along my bra and underwear line so I don’t sweat thru my clothes! When I am at home I only wear sundresses/swimsuit cover ups and no underwear because it’s honestly a heat that no one can understand unless you live here. It feels like a heater and a fire is blowing on you and the strongest sun beam is on top of you. I am one of your Seint customers and I honestly have not been able to wear the highlights so far in this heat. I can wear Demi under my eyes in the heat, but that’s it. Along with Demi, I actually wear powder foundation or MAC natural skin finish for my face. Sounds thick, but powder if applied thin does help to soak up sweat . I also layer the Seint blush over sunscreen and primer and then I top it with a powder blush for longevity. I use eye primer, translucent powder, then a cream eyeshadow over top of that! I know. Sounds crazy. But it’s the only thing. When it’s sooo hot. Waterproof eyeliner and mascara. Setting everything (even though I have dry skin and I’m 39) with a translucent powder on my beauty blender and then a setting spray. I used to be a stage performer and this way of doing my makeup is actually similar to stage and waterproofing your makeup.

I think other women who work in the heat and want to keep a professional face of makeup might be: realtors who show homes and go from home to home, any sales or delivery jobs, traveling nurses, traveling teachers, or even health coaches who teach classes I see wearing a little makeup at the gym!

Hi, love the video as usual. In the heat, I wear tinted sunscreen and some lipstick. Sometimes I add a little Demi and a little Bella bronzer. If I’m going to a function, I’ll wear just a little highlighter (foundation) and blush, not much. And I’ll set it with powder.

In summer I usually wear makeup only on weekends. On weekdays I’m taking care of my grandson and those days it’s just skin care, spf and a silicone based primer to even out my skin tone. By the way: thanks for the tip in a previous video about water based primer working well with Seint - that was a revelation for me! I got a travel size Milk Hydro Grip and it really makes a difference under cream based makeup. So far I have used only Candlelit as a highlight. However, even with the new primer I can see it sitting in my pores. Based on your advice I need a darker highlight. I need a cooler tone and on camera it looks like Sandy has a cooler tone than Amber - is that accurate? Thanks for everything - your videos are a valuable resource ❤️

The question of why would you wear makeup in the summer and the way it was asked sounded really judgy and condescending. We want to wear makeup because we want to, because it makes us feel nice, and put together and pretty, and maybe we just goddamn feel like it. If you don't, then good for you, but that fake question as if you don't know? You can't imagine? And the tone, no thanks. Just cut the bottom of the tube at the closure seal off- you will have access and wont believe how much product is actually left in the tube! Just store cut open tube in ziploc baggie or scoop into a different container.

Hi Michelle, I just ordered through you and am so excited to receive my goodies! To answer your question at the beginning of the video: I’m a speech-language pathologist and I spend a lot of my time running after my clients (children) in their “everyday” environment. This means I am often inside, outside and everywhere in between. I follow their lead and play with them where they want to play as that’s what’s motivating for them; when they’re motivated, I get more language out of them 😏! Here in Alberta, a lot of homes don’t have air conditioning and it can get HOT so I look forward to hearing your tips!
