God held me in false belief for 59 years before revealing the true Christ Jesus to me. HE, Alone, is the Righteous One, by Whose Faith I am Being Saved. Interestingly enough, I always smelled the acute STANK of religion and Hated it profoundly. That was God calling me out of the lie. 59 years of fighting with priests, preachers, pastors, and pastoras, I sat and listened to thousands of hours of their lies and deceptions, hoping for a moment in the lobby on my way out when I could get clarity from them, choking on their lies, pleading for the truth, never to get it. Yet here I am today, arriving at the truth; David Simone, You are Saved By His Faith, Not Yours. My Response: Jesus, My Lord, Your Will, Not Mine! Thank You, Lord.

I've asked a lot of people this question. What is Paul talking about when he says "and come into a realization of the truth". Most tell me it means the truth of the gospel, others say they're not sure. I think it goes straight to the point of knowing God has provided all we need. We can't screw up God's plan. We couldn't "unsave" ourselves even if we wanted to. God has made sure that all will be included. Even those who die in unbelief. And that is an awesome thought. No matter what you do in this life, God has you covered. The realization of "the truth" is the truth of God's righteousness. He is righteous towards us regardless of our unrighteousness towards Him. Good series Martin.

OMG, my sweet daughter and her "holy" husband are both seeking their OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, not God's. So this video speaks to me loud and clear. It's utterly sickening. They carry on like they are so holy and above all, tongue speakers, do, do, do. It makes me sick Martin. I can't be around it. My son in law "speaks" to Jesus (he says) prays 8 hours once a week. That's great. But no Jason you aren't talking to Jesus. I love my daughter of course. She is a sweet, good, loving, wonderful daughter. Well you know, your son Paul is seeking his own righteousness, as all Christians. How blessed are we who know God, who seek God with all their heart. Stay safe. A hurricane is in your state. KJV sounds better..but quick question on another topic since I'm here in Isaiah is verse 19:20 about pre-existence ? And it comes to be for a sign for the eon, and for a testimony to Yahweh of hosts in the land of Egypt. It’s funny how theology recognizes that our righteousness is like filthy rags in the Old Testament while somehow subconsciously holding it higher than Christ when teaching from the New Testament.

Hmmm....years before I came to understand that eternal torment and the trinity are a lie, and that we don't have free will, I DID know that my faith was a gift, not of myself. I remember talking to some Mormon missionaries who came to my door back in those days. After listening for a few minutes, I asked them why they believe they're going to heaven. They answered, "by the grace of God...after all I could do." Then, with noses slightly higher, they asked me, "and what would YOU say?" I answered, "there is no reason, but for the blood of Christ that covers my sin. I have no righteousness of my own." They left, frustrated. Well, I maybe I wasn't exactly right, because now I understand that I am JUSTIFIED. My point is, though, that somehow, this truth WAS taught in the churches I was in. Still, I left, for many valid reasons. And yes, there's plenty of self-righteousness (and other erroneous teachings) to go around in church environments. But I can't be as sure of the point you make in this video as you are, dear brother.

Hello Martin, I am convinced 1,000,000% that I am not in charge of my salvation that God is so when you say God is in charge does that only mean for your salvation does it also mean when you sin that’s from God not from you, define my choices from gods will ? I agree with you Martin on this KZbin video today. I have no quarrel with that. My quarrel is sin itself , do I sin with my will or gods will? I know we have choices in life. What toothpaste will I be using? Where is the separation between my choices and God’s will go into salvation because I’m already on your side on that , and one more thing Martin, does he choose my wife or how much money I’m gonna make in the world is that my will explain further separation of choice and the world of God , I already know I have no righteousness all my righteousness is from God my salvation is from God, but I need to know more of the subject , almost sounds like you’re saying God’s will is only salvation, and all the works he allows you to do, and all your righteousness from him. Dear marcob, God controls absolutely EVERYTHING. This is the simple answer to your question, and here is the verse: "He gives to all life and breath and all" (Acts 17:25). I included that verse in this video, as well as "God is operating all in accord with the counsel of His will" (Ephesians 1:11), so I'm a bit puzzled as to how you came away from this video wondering if I believe God controls everything. Thankful for your comment, however, and I hope the truth satisfies you. Perhaps it's not that you didn't hear these verses, but maybe you have a hard time believing them? Anyway, hope this helps.

Marcob I have the same question for @zendermeister . I understand God hardened Pharaoh’s heart and is the author of good and evil, but it is hard to believe God “causes” us to sin. Especially with this passage: “Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭ Martin, how do we reconcile this notion that God is in control/decrees/ordains all things yet He doesn’t tempt us? I also just had a thought that it’s odd in the Lord’s Prayer one of the lines is “and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil”. Does this mean God CAN lead us into evil, yet we have to lean into Him to deliver us from it?

@@thenatrixundone you have the same thoughts that I have I do see two different scenarios in the Bible those scriptures that are God is in control and scriptures that we have our own will, and God does not interfere is obvious there was two answers written in scripture does that make it a contradiction is the Bible or contradiction? I don’t know the answer. I know I see scriptures on both sides and they both are 100%. How do you pick one over the other only one that I believe is my salvation comes from Jesus Christ, not of me, and the other belief of mine is that I have no righteousness all that comes from my Lord Jesus Christ , for me those two gifts of god will never change . thank you for your text. Martin sounds to me that you believe that you’re understanding of the Scriptures allows you to be saved and not those who don’t not understand the scriptures like you do, that tells me that you are a believer of yourself in the knowledge and smartness of the Scriptures to be saved. You do not trust in God, the salvation that Christ gave us your trust in yourself how smart you are in the scriptures , your knowledge of scriptures is telling you that you’re smarter than everyone else and that only you have the answers so you’re smartness of the scriptures and knowledge has saved. You this knowledge and smartness is showing you and your heart that you are saved, and others are not that means salvation is of you. It is not a free gift. It is your knowledge and you believe that’s making you be saved , You’re smart but you are wrong
