Gota Potala Bhaja Recipe ( Odia ) | Stuffed Parwal Recipe by Mrunalinee | Stuffed Pointed Gourd Recipe : Here I have shown a very easy and super tasty recipe using Pointed Gourd ( Parwal / Potala ) . Smooth and thick paste of ( melon seeds and roasted peanut ) is filled in pointed gourd. Then stir fry it to make it soft and more tastier. So, learn the new way of making this Odia Cuisine in this video made by Mrunalinee. Do enjoy it with Pakhala ( Water Rice ) or with plain rice :)
Ingredinets :
1. Pointed Gourd ( Parwal / Potala - Odia )
2. Melon Seeds ( Char Magaj / Magaja ) - 1 palmful or 6 tbsp
3. Roasted Peanut - 3 tbsp
4. Onion - 1 no ( medium )
5. Green Chilli - 2 nos. ( or as required )
6. Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
7. Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
8. Salt to taste
9. Oil to fry

My mom's fav vegetable is always potal. During my school days we went her birth place jamshedpur n return back to trichy (tn). She bought 2 kg potal in bistpur. All is well. While travelling from madras to trichy thro bus. Potal shape is shrinked because of hot summer. Now even in madras potal n turnip are rare vegetables. Some times by luck we bought from reliance or more. Ur recipe recollects our nostalgia thank u. can we try this style in okra n brinjal?
