Imagine going about your day when a gargantuan magical statue and a dragon with a rider appear from the sky and do some cosmic horror battle you cannot comprehend, all the while you hear, as if not just from around you, but from WITHIN you.. deep, sinister bells, reverberating, unceasing. You try to cover your ears, but it's coming from inside your head, too. There's no escape. And just a few minutes after this cataclysm, humanity is doomed forever, and there is nothing you can do. You, your entire family, the entire city, the entire world are dead, they just don't know it yet.

The bells is just like us, lost and clueless cows with bells on yard, while those cows don't know their river got poisoned by some unresponsible dude dumping coal waste from mountain for their own good, and many creatures along on river stream below got killed in progress.

@@BetaVoltzDKI kinda wanna add a further observation. You know how the violins have a very tempestuous rhythm? Like a whirlwind? With the Mother's song, it is a lot more singular. But now... It's everywhere. Disturbingly so. This is the hellscape the Watchers brought to this world. And it will never end until all is destroyed.

I don't know if you have heard the drama CD, you probably have, but if by some chance you haven't: The residents of Tokyo could HEAR the bells. They panicked into a frenzy because of them. It wasn't just part of the gameplay. It was like Doomsday was happening in real time for them, and... it pretty much was.@@heresamonopassingby8230

It's very chromatic choral music, idk how else to describe it. Maybe Neoclassical New Age? Go listen to AoT's "Vogel im Kafig" and it's remix "YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T" (no this name isn't a dirty joke) for something similar to Nier OST. (CAREFUL NOT TO CLICK ON SPOILERS CAUSE THE AOT FANDOM LOVES TO CASUALLY SPOIL FOR SOME REASON, ITS A PIECE OF FICTION WHERE YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO AVOID ANY AND ALL SPOILERS) Also listen to The House in Fata Morgana's soundtrack, it doesn't have much choir but some songs have a similar atmosphere and vibe.
