The Double Dark consists of a mix rate of:
9 oz 0-0-2 MicroGreene
6 oz 7-0-0 Greene Effect
0-0-2 MicroGreene™ is an incredible compliment to your fertilizer program. Just a tip for the hose inside the sprayer. I cut mine right to the bottom of the container and put the weight back on. My sprayer empty out every time. I dont know why they make it so long.

as a curiosity did you put back the filter as well? I just got one as well can't wait to use it. BTW I think the reason why they make it that long is because you can actually screw the end sprayer on bottles as well which are significantly deeper.

That’s a great idea. On my second ortho already. I might have to try cutting off the filter. At the moment with this newer one which I have used half a dozen times I just rinse out thoroughly. Filter and all. While still attached to the hose. It looks brand new after and only takes a couple minutes.

Yes, when you pre-soak the concrete (or edging or whatever has a stain risk) with water then if the stuff with iron in it gets on the concrete it takes longer to stain, since it needs to dry to stain. You have way more time to get the iron off of the area if you presoak. Plus the added benefit of a higher dilution so less stain risk right off the bat

How long does it normally take to see results from the bio pack?

From the bio pack or this combo? The biopack in general is a long game soil amendment, so you'll begin to see some results after a few apps but most results will be seen over a season or two. With Microgreene in that pack you'll see results quickly as it contains iron and micros - that gives you color and a decent nutrient flush

GreeneEffect needs to be absorbed through the leaf blades and MicroGreene needs to be watered in. So it's best to apply them seperately.

You are supposed to cut off the filter on the bottom of the hose, reinstall the weight and if it ever gets clogged still pull down on the hose where it attaches to the head until you here a pop.

It really depends on your walking speed. Start at 3oz and dial up or down. Use the bio-stims first to get a good test.

Fill to the top? Meaning product or top it off with water. The setting is dependent on your pace. Most stay below 3oz setting.

You can! There are instructions on the labels to tell you how. You want to add half of your water first, then the product, then the rest of the water. You want a minimum of 7:1 ratio.

It doesnt put too much nitrogen out so it wouldnt force that much top growth. At the rate of 6oz per 1k for the GreeneEfFect thats only something like .033 LB of N put down

“This has nitrogen and can get burned….” Yikes. That’s very very very highly unlikely to ever happen. Especially at 7%. Even if you put down 10x the recommended amount, you’d barely be getting 3/4lb of nitrogen per 1k sqft. You could put that entire bottle down on 1k sqft and it still wouldn’t “burn” the lawn. Such a huge misconception of a term that is loosely thrown around in the DIY community over the last 20 years.

You're absolutely correct. One issue some can encounter is the "chocolate burn" from the concentrated iron. However, the lawn recovers fairly quickly. This won't give the typical "burn" so to speak.
