Step one: purchase an entire workshop amount of tools Step two: already posses the mastered skills of ngoni making Step three: make an ngoni

Yeah working that fiberglass must have been super fun. Could have used a gourd and taken half the time

It’s not easy finding a gourd. I might end up doing the same.

Seems like a large gourd could replace that fiberglass. Nice video, though. Thank you for sharing.

Goed job brother. Which strings do you use? Thanks

what size/diameter cords/strings are you using? I've made some 6 strings but all with one size. I'd like to try making one like this

It did indeed came out very nicely! I am also building kamelen ngonis, but with gourds. Always wondered if I could replace those with something else. What kind of polyester do you use, specifically? An epoxy? What is the fabric you use? Glass mat? My hart is bleeding a bit, though, to see you working outside with all the plastic dust. Nature is already filled with too much plastics. I'd also suggest to put more tension on the skin.

They appear to be using fiberglass! (I'm guessing) ((Well, it's two year later, so I hope you found an answer before my comment!...)

I've used fiber glass b4 as well. But as a maker why not just source better material. So you can skip the fiberglass

I did it too. This is what I used Woodglut designs for
