Hi, 國仁兄，如果冇記錯，好似之前見過你用 MS HD Power Mains Block. 好想知道應該 upgrade Power Conditioning 先，一話 upgrade 電源線先？ Or is it only worth it when upgrading both at the same time.

Can compare to other brand like Audioquest, wireworld, Nordost... This Ansuz X is entry level same level with Nordost leaf series/ wireworld eclipse... Like to know that when talking about cable/wire.

Nordost in my opinion doesn't sound good with all the equipment, it's overly revealing in some frequency and lack meat in their sound for their lower lines, they often sound lean in my opinion. For Wireworld I only used their platinum line's usb and headphone cable, their sound signature is very apparent as well, thicker compares to Nordost's same level line, but transparent, maybe not as revealing, treble is pronounced and extended with this, the most noticeable character is they will create a dome like sound field, they creates their own stable frame for the music instead of more neutral approach(when using their analog cable), that's not the best way to do it but some people like it, too refined for my taste. Ansuz is very good, not the crazy resolving type, mid range is beautifully voiced and solid but not appears to be unnatural, the bass isn't deep, slamming and the quantity isn't too much for it to sound meaty and muscular, treble is very well extended and smooth, it's overall on the neutral side with slight toning and its own voicing, match well with varieties of equipment.

I personally prefer Ansuz a lot as their tone and voicing are being done with sophistication, their overall balanced is very nice and often time their characters don't show off and work against the equipment's, their character is pretty much the same in all their levels, their bass is likely their weakness compare to some other brand, if you want more bass and meaty bass you should look to other direction. it's better to use a full loom when using them, you can start with power cables.

We are not like US can loan cable from dealer. A bit hard to invest each product. Mostly trial and error which can cost us arm and leg for cabling and sometimes more expensive than the component.
