Japan's original country name NIPPON means "country under the sun," but the traditional name of the country when the capital was here in Nara was YAMATO (WA). Yamato means "land of great harmony between people and nature. For about 1,300 years since the Emperor established the capital of Japan in Nara, deer have been traditionally cherished as messengers of the sacred gods of this island nation blessed with nature, until the present day. The deer know that humans think so from generation to generation, so even though the city has changed its appearance, the deer still feel safe and comfortable living here.
Each of the deer looks being more comfortable in their shorter and naturally trimmed hair at Nara Park in midsummer. Super relaxable and peaceful site we Japanese have fun watching with smiles that many foreigners spend a nice time.
The imperative and arrogant attitude is immediately distinguished as absolutely general Chinese people, right? 😮

I’m a citizen of Nara. I would like the deer 🦌 in Nara to be given only “deer rice crackers 🍘” that are sold exclusively for deer. ☝️ They appear to feed the deer with human food.🤔 It is forbidden to give human food to deer 🦌 in Nara because the sugar, salt, and oil contained in them make the deer 🦌 sick. Everyone watching this video, please never do such an act. 🙇♀️🙇♂️🍀
Please don't touch nor pet the baby deers (bambi) between May and July season time, because the mommy deers will neglect to feed their babies, due to the human smells, whoever touched and petted their babies through smell contamination or could call it like invade the personal civil rights like animal life. This message, I translated only the essence that the local Japanese people wrote in the comment section in Japanese. According to her, she mentioned in asking visitors NOT TO TOUCH the baby deers. Please protect the baby deers. The Bambi need to be fed by their mother deers, so please respect the boundaries. 😊
I‘m a citizen of Nara. I have a request for all of you who come to Nara Park. 🙇♀️🙇♂️ The deer give birth season from May to July every year, but if you see a cute fawn, please do not touch it or chase it. 🙏 The reason is that when a human carelessly touches a fawn and the human scent is transferred to the fawn, it has been confirmed that the mother deer 🦌 dislikes the smell and abandons childcare. And the fawn, who can no longer receive milk 🍼 from the mother deer 🦌, will weaken and die. 😭 Also, if you chase a fawn, you may run into the roadway and get into a traffic accident, or the mother deer 🦌 will fight back to protect the fawn. (In particular, please be careful if you are traveling with small children.) I would like to ask for everyone's understanding and cooperation in order to protect the cute fawn and not create unfortunate fawns. 🙏😌🍀

Wow!! I was in a wildpark in Germany where the deer are also free roaming! It was sooooooo an awesome experience!! I even made a video of them!!❤
Help the deer in Nara They were captured and detained by Nara City, and given little food, they are rapidly starving to death. Members of the Nara City Humane Society are driving the deer to death. A veterinarian filed a complaint, but Nara City said there was "no problem." I believe that many deer will continue to be sacrificed. Japanese TV gave little coverage, and only the Asahi Shimbun newspaper covered it. I would be happy if more people around the world criticized it.
