What a wonderful initiative by the Darjeeling municipality. Also what a wonderful thought that they are doing this for the future generations. I visited Darjeeling after almost a decade and was shocked to see the jam, the roads crowded by houses, shops and the incessant blaring of horns. Our generation literally skipped our way to school but now there are no places to walk properly. This initiative hopefully should give the public the space they deserve. Thank you to the municipality team.
