Everytime Lian calls Kuea "Nu" my heart stops for a second. In cutie pie 1 he called him"Nu Kuea", and in special eps he calls him NU just like when he (Zee) calls him in real life, he even uses the same Tone. Zee and NuNew showcasing themselves in every episode. Zee wasn't lying when he said he put some of himself in Lian while filming the special eps and didn't do workshops, and asked Nu if he also put 50% feelings in the special eps. Cuz They look so intimate and natural, almost unscripted.

I really like it that they both finally learnt to ask each other's opinion and thoughts. The key to any relationship is always communication. Especially Lian, he let him understand that his opinion matters just like his, and that marriage is about two people. He’s so calm and trustworthy while saying it, he perfectly handled the situation and made him cool down. The way he told him to smile and smiled to show him how, is just so beautiful and wholesome.

Both Lian and Nukea look closer and more natural in their leading roles, I don't know how much fiction and how much reality there is in these special episodes, but I love them, and I know I'm going to miss them a lot when this is over . Oh my god the beginning of the episode made me so happy! This is such a huge difference from the beginning stages of their relationship in terms of communication and expressing what they both want. I love Hia Lian’s emphasis on asking Kuea was he wants to do, not in disregard to his own feelings, but to show him that he can chose what he wants and he doesn’t have to go with what everyone else expects of him. He doesn’t have to live this double life anymore where the two things he loves can’t be made into one. It breaks my heart that Kuea thought that he wouldn’t want to marry him anymore if he chose being Kirin over his marriage. I just appreciate this series for really showing the development of their relationship and Hia Lian’s determination to make himself a safe space for Kuea, something that he was lacking in the beginning of Cutiepie. ❤

I can relate to Kuea and the decision he had to make - to follow his dream or to stay with his lover.
