नेपाल The Monsoon - Nepali Ho, 1974 AD

The 2016 Monsoon was one of the heaviest in recent years. A light monsoon does not bring enough water to the fields and can fail to replenish the water sources.. A heavy monsoon can cause excessive flooding and landslides with loss of life and homes. The resilience of the Nepalis in coping with the variability of the monsoon is admired worldwide. Great rivers such as the Hongu and Arun, swollen by the monsoon rains, flow into the Koshi River which spreads its waters across the Terai plains before reaching the Ganges.
